CRASH the VOTE 2016

UPDATED November 9th: Thanks to an incredible worker-led grassroots campaign, Prop 60 has been defeated. There is much, much more work to be done. Thank you to all who support us.

What’s the deal with Prop 60, the ‘Condoms in Porn’ law on the California ballot? (And why would the cast and crew here at CrashPadSeries be against it, since things like condoms, gloves, and dental dams are seen all the time in CrashPad episodes… wouldn’t we be in favor of condoms?)

Adult performers value sexual health and are capable and deserving of choosing the best options. Safer sex needs are different for every body. We encourage STI testing, barrier use, and communication, and we exercise our right to safety through a combination of these choices based on risk-assessment. Learn more with #PornStarsForPublicHealth.

Prop 60 claims to protect porn performers by mandating the use of condoms, however the fine-print creates legislation that limits our safer sex choices, threatens our privacy, and exposes us to anti-LGBTQ harassment. It would allow any California resident to sue us (whether a condom is visible or not!) releasing our legal names and addresses to the public — including overzealous fans and those who wish us harm. This jeopardizes our safety.

If Prop 60 passes, Pink and White would be forced to take drastic precautions to prevent lawsuits that threaten to expose the private information of our cast and crew. We would have to move our production out of the state, and block California IP addresses for our projects PinkLabel.tv and CrashPadSeries.com.

Californian voters need to be informed that Prop 60 is not about condoms in porn; it’s about harassment. It is so badly written that both Democrats and Republicans oppose it, along with over 55 major newspapers. Latest polls show a tie split with 40% in favor, 40% opposed, and 20% undecided. We need your help to spread the word: Vote NO on Prop 60!
