Season 11

"Space to be Free"

We've moved! CrashPad has seen a lot of studio spaces over the years. Director Ava LaPrima has designed an inviting set where performers can feel cozy and inspired to let go. If you're not distracted by the hot action you might identify artifacts from our previous sets, from the glowing peacock painting and our sex toy dresser to Feminist Porn Award trophies and the original rotary phone from the film that started it all.

Season 10

"Viva La Ava LaPrima!"

Ch-ch-ch-changes. Our new director Ava LaPrima carries forth Crash Pad's queer porn legacy with brand new episodes and fresh faces, in a new studio with high beams and bright light!

Season 9

"CrashPad 2.0"

Welcome to CrashPadSeries 2.0! As the COVID-19 pandemic continued into 2021, the logistics of voyeurism remain complicated. But you know what they say… Improvise, Adapt, and Overcome! Or Come All Over! When vaccines became available, we minimized and sanitized our set, and went hard into CrashPad's original voyeur premise with the help of 4 remote controlled cameras. Performers were couples who were podded. We continued to survive the pandemic, thanks to loyal subscribers. Following CDC guidelines, we eventually moved to a small masked and vaxxed (and daily tested) crew and opened our casting to allow crushes who were not previously in pods. Towards the end of the season, Shine decided to pass the torch -- or keys? -- and welcomed our camera operator Ava LaPrima as CrashPad's new director.

Season 8

"Lockdown"

On March 12th, San Francisco went into lockdown in response to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). While we all waited for it to become safe to shoot again, we checked in with our favorite CrashPad performers who shared uplifting messages in tough times. Remember to love yourself, and do your part to protect yourself, your loved ones, and the marginalized communities impacted most by the pandemic. (And as always, wash those sexy hands!) We thank all our members for your support. Keep staying safe! We were nominated “Female-Produced Site of the Year” at the 2019 and 2020 XBiz Awards.

Season 7

"Queer Joy"

We celebrated our 300th episode with James Darling and Janie Blade, and had a porn reunion with original CrashPad performer Dylan Ryan. We won “Alternative Site of the Year” 2016 XBiz Awards and were nominated “Specialty Site of the Year” at the AVN Awards.

Season 6

"Finding a Groove"

We switched up the space and painted and finally learned how to make a bed. We also cast CrashPad stars in a new tickle-wrestling project.

Season 5

"New Beginnings"

Having to move was a silver lining, resulting in the beautiful artist community we share with high ceilings for mounting lights, movable walls, and room to grow. We celebrated our 200th episode. We also filmed SNAPSHOT (featuring familiar CrashPad stars!) and held filmmaker workshops, including Crash Courses.

Season 4

"If These Walls Could Talk"

Shine found an apartment to rent a stone's throw from her own house, and CrashPad had a new home -- complete with shower, kitchen, and a very small bedroom. The place became the site of new project Heavenly Spire, and was also the location of Jiz Lee's 30th Birthday Orgy -- and celebrated the site's 100th episode with porn icon Nina Hartley, and our 5th Anniversary with April Flores. Good times were had! Eventually the owner wanted to sell the building so we were sent looking for a new location. We hope its new occupants are living it up!

Season 2

"A Room of Our Own"

Moving out of our own apartment into an official studio! (Twice!) Return of Season 1 stars Syd, Dylan, Jiz. And released our final DVD collections with volumes 4-6, nominated Feminist Porn Awards (including Audience Favorite Winner Syd/Mickey) and AVN nominated Best Alternative Website. We also started a new project, Point of Contact, with Sophia, Q, Tina Horn, James Darling, Cyd, and more, launching several new indie porn projects.

Season 1

"Roommates"

Riding high on the release of The Crash Pad, director Shine Louise Houston and co-producer Shine and Shawn got to work filming a new set of episodes to launch the website. Written scripts wove a dramatic storyline of seduction and betrayal, and The Vogan Starships provided a soundscore for the 'voyeuring' landlord. Cast and crew were enlisted from Bay Area's Lusty Lady, and prominent gay and BDSM porn producers. Winning Feminist Porn Award's Best Trans Sex Scene (Julie and Michelle Aston), and nominated for AVN Awards Best Solo Scene (Dylan Ryan), with 3 volume DVD releases.
