OFF SCREEN: Could I see you… Where do you want the… (unintelligible) Can you drop your left leg just a little bit?
JIZ: (strained breathing)
OFF SCREEN: All right. Do you want cameltoe?
JIZ: (exhausted exhale) OK.
(laughing, cross-talk)
OFF SCREEN: OK, oh, yeah!
OFF SCREEN: Can I see it?
OFF SCREEN: Like, oh, there.
OFF SCREEN: A little bit!
OFF SCREEN: Oh yeah, oh my god!
(laughing)
JIZ: I want to try to get my legs to like, quiver. Like, if I’m like… you know?
OFF SCREEN: Oh, OK. Yeah yeah yeah. There you go. Rolling, ready when you are.
JIZ: (breathing) (grunting)
OFF SCREEN: You okay? (laughing)
JIZ: Oh, was that recorded? Oh.
(laughing)
OFF SCREEN: And ready when you are.
(laughing)
JIZ: …the best.
NIKKI: (laughing)
[cut]
OFF SCREEN: OK, yeah. Let’s try it one more time. So we’re taking it from, you know, do this next set, you failed to do the set, and here we go.
[cut]
JIZ AND NIKKI: (laughing)
NIKKI: How did you enjoy the scene today? (giggling)
JIZ: I enjoyed it a lot. It uh, felt really good.
(airplane noise off-camera)
JIZ: There’s the, um, Fleet Week. Oh, they left. OK.
(airplane noise stops)
OFF SCREEN: All right, it’s moving on. OK. You can start over.
JIZ: OK. Do you want the question?
OFF SCREEN: Yeah.
NIKKI: Start from the question.
JIZ: OK.
(laughing)
NIKKI: How did you enjoy the scene today?
JIZ: I enjoyed the shoot very much. Um, it felt really good. I’m still feeling repercussions of the good feelings. It’s always hard to talk after sex for me, ’cause all my blood is like, down below and not necessarily in my brain. Um, but yeah, it’s very easy to work with you, and the shoot felt special, ’cause it was a special episode, so there was some acting, and some different change of scenery, and, yeah. Yeah.
NIKKI: Awesome.
JIZ: What about you? Did you enjoy the shoot today?
NIKKI: I fully enjoyed the shoot today. Um, you are also really awesome to work with, and really easy to work with, and um, it had actually, it had been a while for me, too, since the last time I shot for CrashPad, so, it’s always nice to come back and, you know, just do what I like doing.
JIZ: Yeah.
Nikki: So yeah, it was a really fun scene.
JIZ: It was great to work with you. ‘Cause like, we were also, like not too long ago, we were saying, Yeah like, we haven’t worked together, why not, when can that happen…
NIKKI: Yeah! Like why have we not done that!
JIZ: Yeah.
NIKKI: So I’m really excited that that actually was able to happen, and I had a really good time.
JIZ: Me too.
NIKKI: It was really fun.
JIZ: Yeah. It’s been almost five years since I’ve shot for CrashPad. I know, I took a hiatus, I like let other people come in.
NIKKI: Yeah.
JIZ: And I had been on the site a bunch.
NIKKI: Right. Yeah.
JIZ: So I was like, OK, you know. And like one of the last shoots I did was like, my thirtieth birthday party. With like, thirty people and, it was, you know, I was like, I said, that’s a good… you know, I had some good times.
NIKKI: It’s like… yeah. (laughing)
JIZ: Yeah. Yeah. But Shine asked me if I wanted to do this shoot, and then who I wanted to do it with. So yeah! Why not?
NIKKI: Yeah! Awesome.
[cut]
OFF SCREEN: This is gonna be awesome.
OFF SCREEN: This is gonna be fun!
OFF SCREEN: It’s gonna be funny and loud.
OFF SCREEN: I know! I can feel it.
(laughing)
OFF SCREEN: Oh, now you’re laughing. It’s going to start hitting the thing that…
OFF SCREEN: Don’t make me laugh!
(laughing)
JIZ: It’s like that laugh circle where you lay your head on someone else’s belly in a daisy chain, and then someone starts laughing and you can totally fake it because once you start faking it then everyone starts laughing for real, and then everyone’s head is bouncing up and down? You know that?
OFF SCREEN: It’s exactly like that.
OFF SCREEN: The laughing circle!
OFF SCREEN: All day. All day. I’m into that.
OFF SCREEN: OK, simmer down.
NIKKI: Simmer down now, simmer down, simmer down.
OFF SCREEN: Will you help me go from there to there? Yeah, it’s a long way. There we go. That’s good from here.
OFF SCREEN: Look at each other? Beautiful.
JIZ: Your eyes are watering.
OFF SCREEN: All right, ready? Cables, focus.
[cut]
NIKKI: What was challenging about the shoot, if anything?
JIZ: I think what was challenging was actually what I like, which is like the um, the athleticism of it, and the challenge of that, I think. Of like, staying on the bench and balancing on it.
NIKKI: Yeah.
JIZ: Or um, you know, I really liked hanging off of the bench, at that point? Like it just felt really… yeah.
NIKKI: Yeah, I was noticing.
JIZ: Yeah, I like to, like, flex my muscles, you know, a lot? And so it’s nice to have things to hang on, as opposed to just like a nice, soft mattress, you know?
NIKKI: (giggling) Yeah.
JIZ: So I actually liked those things. And um, I liked making my legs shake. Both in the beginning workout part, and then also bringing that back in during the sex. I was like oh this is cool, this is like a theme.
NIKKI: Yeah. (giggling)
JIZ: Yeah. So I don’t think it was that challenging. Um. It was the first time we’ve had sex or worked together. Um, and it was really easy to work with you, so that was really easy.
NIKKI: Yeah.
JIZ: Overall it wasn’t that challenging. I think the most challenging part was probably acting. And feeling like I was doing a good… doing it justice. What was challenging for you, if anything?
NIKKI: Um, I would say the acting part was challenging. I don’t… I don’t generally like, act that much, so I guess, like, fulfilling like, the character and also I think sometimes it’s… it can be hard for me to both do acting and do sex at the same time, because they feel like different headspaces for me. And so kind of like getting into what the character was that I needed to get into but also like, you know, getting into the sex and making sure that I, um, give a good performance in that way too. So that was probably the more complicated, or the more challenging part for me, for the scene.
[cut]
OFF SCREEN: Sweet!
(laughing)
OFF SCREEN: All right, I’m still rolling, let’s see what we’re working on… OK. And since this is a wide shot, Jiz, can you do it a little more exaggerated, or are you going to hit your head on that thing? Like can you come up, like UGH. Yeah. OK. Right. And, ready? OK. And, action.
NIKKI: Now. From the top. (blows whistle)
OFF SCREEN: Cut. (laughing) The whistle died.
NIKKI: The whistle died. (laughing)
OFF SCREEN: What happened to the whistle?
NIKKI: I don’t know why! (laughing)
OFF SCREEN: I can get the other whistle…
NIKKI: I know! I’m like, what happened to the whistle?
[cut]
NIKKI: If you’ve done porn before… (laughing)
JIZ: I might have. I might have done something.
NIKKI: Maybe a little bit? Little dibble dabble?
JIZ: Yeah, yeah, some home movies.
(laughing)
NIKKI: If you’ve done porn before, why do you continue to do porn?
(airplane noise off-camera)
(giggling)
JIZ: Hmmm, let me think on that.
(airplane noise stops)
JIZ: I’ve been doing porn since 2005, so it’s been ten years, and I always consider each opportunity a choice, and I consider whether or not I want to do it. I’m privileged in that I have an alternative income other than porn, so porn’s always just extra thing that I can choose to do. And sometimes I say no and sometimes I say yes, based on if it’s rewarding, fun, I feel like there’s a challenge in it, and I always like to bring, you know, various things that I think are not often in porn a lot. I like to bring safer-sex barriers, and…
NIKKI: Right.
JIZ: I like to bring ejaculation; I like to bring, just the way I look, even, which is not often seen in porn.
NIKKI: Yeah.
JIZ: So I think I’ll continue to do it for as long as it fits those criterias. And I would love to be, like, a silver-haired fox, you know, like an older, elder queer in porn that people can be like, Oh look–you can be older. And I can have like, my wrinkles, and like, my changes… my body as my body ages, and be able to like, be that.
NIKKI: Awesome.
JIZ: Yeah. So we’ll see if I get there, but so far, so good.
NIKKI: (laughter) Yeah.
JIZ: Yeah. So yeah, I continue to like it; so I continue to do it.
JIZ: Yeah. So, I know that you’ve done porn before…
NIKKI: Yeah…
JIZ: So why do you continue to do it?
NIKKI: I’ve been doing porn for four years now, and the reason I continue to do it is because I… I enjoy it. I know it’s like, a really simple and strange answer, but it’s something that I full-heartedly, really love doing. I love… I love performing on camera; I love being able to… I love being able to… be involved in other people’s fantasies; it’s like an interesting dynamic that I really like doing.
JIZ: Totally.
NIKKI: I also really, you know, as a queer woman of color, I feel like there needs to be more faces that are like mine. And so, representing that aspect of it is really important to me, too. And, you know, I think also, you know, having, you know… being tiny, or having small boobs, or looking this way or looking that way, that also is seen as beautiful, and isn’t, you know, it may not technically be what is considered I guess the regular or, like, the binary of what porn or what sexy is, but to, I don’t know, urge people to think outside the box, I guess.
[cut]
(vibrator humming, moaning)
NIKKI: You got one more left?
JIZ: OK.
NIKKI: (laughs)
(moaning)
(vibrator stops)
(vibrator starts again)
JIZ: Can we work on those light punches? Make your hand into a fist. ??? Then just punch lightly, like that. Yeah.
NIKKI: Mmhmm.
JIZ: Actually, like this–just punching on the outside of me. Like in a… just, outside, yeah.
NIKKI: Like that?
JIZ: Just like the muscles around… around my hole?
(laughing)
JIZ: No, just actually punching like the outsides.
NIKKI: Like that?
JIZ: No, like outside?
NIKKI: Oh, like this!
(laughing)
NIKKI: I was like, what?
(laughing) (indistinct)
JIZ: Yeah, just like, softly, all around the oustide muscles. Yes.
JIZ: A little harder. Yeah. A little lower… or higher? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah….
JIZ: Harder! Faster! Yeah! Faster… (cries out, gasping, moaning)
(giggling, moaning)
[cut]
JIZ: What are your safe-sex practices, and why?
NIKKI: I get tested regularly, and I, also with my personal partners, use barriers and condoms.
JIZ: All right. I get tested for porn, and it happens often enough that I feel like it’s pretty regular. More regular than, like, the CDC’s recommendation, at least, right?
NIKKI: Right.
JIZ: Which tends to be like, maybe four months for me, sometimes more often? And I use barriers; I like showing barriers in porn anyway, so oftentimes even if I am tested, I also like to use barriers.
NIKKI: Right, right.
JIZ: Yeah. And there are… within the testing, there’s like seven, you know, things that they test for right now currently in porn; and there’s two that I feel like that we are able to pass–herpes and HPV–that, the kind of porn that I do, like that’s actually what I’m probably most at risk for.
NIKKI: Right:
JIZ: Although in general I feel like the things I do are pretty low-risk? But they don’t test for HPV or herpes, because it’s hard to test for them. And so barriers kind of add an extra element that I feel really safer in. And sometimes I’ll shoot without them, if the company doesn’t like to use them, but I feel more confident and safer using barriers.
NIKKI: Yeah.
JIZ: Yeah. Those are my safe-sex practices, and I like communicating them with my partners. Yeah.
[cut]
NIKKI: Is there anything else that you would like to add?
JIZ: It feels good to be back on CrashPad. It always feels good to be able to have flexibility in the shoot. To wear… like, bring our own outfits. And not wear makeup if you don’t want to wear makeup. It kinda feels nice to have that freedom, to not have to take off your pants if you don’t want to. To… I kept my sports bra on the whole time, because that felt better for me. So like, I liked that flexibility. And particularly at CrashPad, where we can do that.
JIZ: Is there anything you’d like to add?
NIKKI: Yeah, I guess that I had a blast today. I always have a blast shooting for CrashPad because, you know, like you said, it allows for a lot of flexibility for you and whoever your scene partner is to feel comfortable and as safe as possible, and I always really value that. ‘Cause in the breadth of different porn that I’ve done, that’s not always the case. So to come to a place where there’s flexibility, where you can really just kind of, you know, sort of do what you want, whatever makes you comfortable, and feel safe about it, is always really great.
JIZ: Yeah. And this episode was different; it was special. Because usually the script and the ideas are… it would be up for us to to decide what we want to do.
NIKKI: Right.
JIZ: And this one kinda came to us as like, would you like to do this?
NIKKI: Yeah.
JIZ: And still, the sex part was like, a big blank box. Where was like, well, do what you want to do!
NIKKI: Yeah! Exactly.
(airplane noise off-camera)
JIZ: …Airplanes.
NIKKI: Airplanes!
JIZ: (cracks neck)
(airplane noise stops)
JIZ: The one thing I forgot about this shoot, that I probably should add, is that it was born from a collaboration/cross-promotion idea between CrashPad and the New York Toy Collective, in New York, who make wonderful dildos and other things, and they… we came up to this idea that we would do a scriptwriting contest and open it up to CrashPad fans and see what we got, and, you know, if we got something that we would like, we would… We had like a judging system, and we had judges help us and all that stuff. But yeah, if we found one that we would like to do, that we could actually do it, and so we found a date that we would do it.
NIKKI: That’s awesome.
JIZ: So yeah, and the script called for the inclusion of items and things, and one of them was one of their dildos.
NIKKI: Nice.
JIZ: And so we got to use the Ellis, which felt really good.
NIKKI: Yes. Awesome.
JIZ: Dual-density silicone. And it has a suction cup, so you could actually like, suction it to…
NIKKI: Yeah, I was noticing that–that’s awesome! (giggling)
JIZ: Yeah. So I just wanted to acknowledge New York Toy Collective and say thanks for helping us do this really fun, out-of-the-blue scriptwriting thing
NIKKI: Thank you!
(laughing)
JIZ: Yeah. Thanks for giving me the excuse to come back to the CrashPad.
NIKKI: (laughing) Right?
