Dick Hamby and Johnny Castro discuss how fun making porn can be, staying safe with multiple partners, and how quarantine taught them to enjoy having nothing to do.

Johnny: How did you enjoy the shoot today?

Dick: I enjoyed myself a lot.

Johnny: Me too. I had a lot of fun.

Dick: You’re so sexy, so, you know.

Johnny: I feel like – I feel like that just went really natural, felt really natural. Fun, playful. You’re super fun to make out with.

Dick: Yeah, likewise. I love your body. Just, you know, delighting in it. Is…fun.

Johnny: Oh my goodness, same completely.

Dick: What was challenging about the shoot?

Johnny: I don’t really feel like anything was challenging about the shoot. I feel like, I was pretty just either focused on making you feel good or how good you were making me feel

Dick: Yeah, likewise. I’m always like, when I’m filming I need to remember to, stay in the moment and everything. And be like, I’m actually enjoying myself right now! So that’s like always a thing, but I was definitely, enjoying myself.

Johnny: Agreed! I like that you make a lot of eye contact. It makes it a lot more natural, I feel like, I love eye contact.

Dick: Me too. It’s so hot.

Johnny: What are your safer sex practices and why?

Dick: For me, one of the major things is I’m on PrEP* [pre-exposure prophylaxis for HIV] That’s like, pretty important. I think.

Johnny: Same.

Dick: I also want to check in with all my partners like what their practices are. So they feel safe, I think that’s the big things that I do.

Johnny: Yeah. Same. I also, I’m on PrEP. I check in with my partners. I also have a lot of sex so I get tested every two weeks.

Dick: Oh, same!

Johnny: So I have like a constant flow….of mostly good information.

Dick: If you’ve done porn before, why you continue to do it? Unless today was your first. Then why did you do it?

Johnny: I think it’s fun. I think it’s a really good way to meet other people that are in the industry. I think it helps – it can help build community. I met so many cool people doing porn and it’s just opened a lot of doors for me. And I really appreciate that. It’s fun. I mean, it’s hot. And yeah, and how about you?

Dick: Um, yeah. I mean I’ve done porn before. And I really enjoy it. I definitely – I kind of wish I’d gotten into it when I was a little younger, too, honestly, cuz I always wanted to. And I’m like, now that I’m doing, I’m like, I love this. Yeah. This is so much fun.

Johnny: Totally.

Dick: And like you said, yeah, getting to meet people that way. It’s really great, you know. I feel like it’s really special you get to do all these things with people

Dick: What has been the best thing about quarantine for you?

Johnny: The best thing about quarantine probably is just learning how to not constantly work. Like, to have a second to relax sit with that and be like, you know, you don’t have to be doing anything cuz there’s nothing to do because you’re stuck inside and it’s okay. So relax and enjoy the time that you have.

Dick: I totally feel that. I realized I could be retired tomorrow and be like completely happy.

Johnny: Right, without having to find something to do.

Dick: I would have hobbies and everything. I realized too, something I really liked was like, I realized that I do have a lot of hobbies. Like I don’t need to like half a day job to feel fulfilled or anything

Johnny: Totally

Dick: Which was actually like being okay. Cool. I want to retire.

Johnny: Yeah
