(Intro music)
Diosa: How did you enjoy the shoot today?
Nikki: I loved it. Every moment of it. It was… It was so fun. I love having sex with you. (Laughs) It was amazing. How did you enjoy the shoot today?
Diosa: I also had a really great time. I like having sex with you, too.
Nikki: Was there anything challenging about the shoot?
Diosa: Um, time. Like just…trying to get as much time as we could to play and interact and do things that we wanted to do and just make sure that we didn’t go over time or under time. Just trying to find the right space. Yeah.
Nikki: Yeah, I think maybe the challenging part was… Yeah, I think just remembering all of the things that we wanted to do and balancing the interaction but not getting off the moment. Cause I get lost in the moment very easily. With you. (Laughs) So that was probably the most challenging part.
Diosa: Totally.
Nikki: What are your safer sex practices, and why?
Diosa: I like to do testing and use barriers on toys. Yeah, I mean… Testing is usually the first …and then, and then barriers on toys.
Nikki: Um, yeah, my safer practices are frequent testing. Specifically whenever I have a new partner. And also barriers on toys, frequent washing of my toys before and after every… every interaction and session. Um, yeah.
Diosa: Have you done porn before, and if so, why do you continue to do it?
Nikki: Yes, I have done porn before. This is actually my first shoot in a really long time. And it’s such a welcomed place back. Specifically at CrashPad. I feel like CrashPad has been my queer little home. For a really long time. And the reason why I continue to do it is… the representation of who I am as an individual, as a queer Black person. I think it’s really important to share love and tenderness, and liberated sexuality, especially in this time.
Diosa: Totally
Nikki: Have you done porn before? And if so, why do you continue to do it?
Diosa: Yes, I have done porn before. CrashPad is also a safe place for me to express my sexuality. And, um…just enjoy being with another person and expressing different things that we’d like to do together. I think I do it because I’m allowed that expression and the pleasure that I get from it is… is just… there’s so much of it. There’s pleasure during, there’s pleasure after. Watching. I just get so much pleasure out of it.
Nikki: I love that. What has been the best thing about quarantine?
Diosa: Um… I like being alone. (Laughs) I do. I like having alone time. It makes it so that your alone time isn’t so…like, awkward. It’s kind of like been normalized now that you can be alone and it’s okay and to have alone time is sacred
Nikki: Mhmm. Yeah it is. I feel that.
Diosa: What is your best quarantine…?
Nikki: I think having the time and space and solitude to reflect. I think a lot of times in this, uh, late capitalist society, I don’t think we’re able to, or I don’t think we’re afforded the time to really sit and reflect about our life and it’s been really great to, yeah, sit and reflect on it. And also I think quarantine taught me like, who my tribe is who my forever friends are. Um, yeah.
Diosa: Totally.
Nikki: Now that restrictions are starting to loosen up, what is the thing that you’re looking forward to?
Diosa: Um, I’m looking forward to… Disneyland.
(Squeals and laughter)
Diosa: I really want to go to Disneyland
Nikki: Can I go with you?
Diosa: Yeah! Of course!
Diosa: And just being with friends in bigger groups. You know? Like I miss my friends and I would like to see them all at once or in bigger groups than what I’ve been doing.
Nikki: Right.
Diosa: So it would be nice to go to a party. I’m not a party person, so me saying that is huge.
Nikki: I know!
Diosa: Like, to go to one party would be really, really nice. I’m looking forward to that. What about you?
Nikki: Um… Definitely hugging my mom. Being able to hug my mom. Being able to hug my family. Also… yeah, being able to have more of that time with friends. I… I miss going to like a queer house party and dancing.
Diosa: Exactly!
Nikki: Dancing! So yeah, definitely that. Being able to… Being able to slowly start to travel a little more
(Shine, off camera) Closing statements? Anything that you’d like to say about porn, the shoot today, puppies…
Nikki: I… um… I originally stopped doing and performing, because I didn’t feel safe and I’m so honored and blessed to have a place like CrashPad for me to come back and feel safe again.
Diosa: Thank you. Thank you for feeling safe.
