[00:06:18] Selphie So, yeah, it was it was a role play I’ve never done before, I had a lot of fun with it.

[00:06:47] Tessa Um, just kind of like determining the balance of like how much to push myself versus staying in my comfort zone. 

[00:06:57] Tessa You know, we were kind of like toeing the line on some of that a little bit. But, you know, it was pretty much fun for me. 

[00:07:03] Selphie So, uh, what are your safer sex practices and why? 

[00:07:07] Tessa I usually use condoms. 

[00:07:10] Tessa You know, usually

[00:07:12] with toys or fingers, you know, most of the time anyway. 

[00:07:18] Tessa I make sure to stay STI tested and try to make sure my partners are as well.

[00:07:29] Tessa And just like having a lot of communication about boundaries and what is and isn’t comfortable, you know, helps to make sex a lot safer in general.

[00:07:42] Selphie I like to use gloves, obviously. I feel like that’s always a good way to stay safe. Gloves and like a lot of a lot of consent, a lot of consent and a lot of – I think that is, you know, safety in sex, you know, and we talked a lot beforehand about what we want to do. 

[00:08:06] Selphie And, you know, we we practiced what we want to and we you know, I think that was a really good way to keep each other safe and not, you know, like we were really familiar with each other’s boundaries, really familiar with each other’s, like, statuses. 

[00:08:27] Selphie We were really familiar with each other’s, like, preferences. And like, I feel like we worked really hard to keep each other safe throughout the shoot. So which is exact – that’s [motor tic] that’s exactly what I want. In having sex with anybody. 

[00:08:41] Selphie Yeah. It’s just like common respect and, you know, looking out for each other’s safety on top of looking out for your own. 

[00:08:49] Selphie Mm hmm. I think it’s important. 

[00:08:51] Tessa So why do you continue to do porn? 

[00:08:56] Selphie This is my third CrashPad. 

[00:08:58] Selphie I’ve been doing porn since like 2014? Ish? 

[00:09:06] Selphie I think porn was just so important for me when I was, you know, when I was younger and I was trying to understand myself and trying to understand what I wanted. It was a really felt like I felt like a really safe way to explore sexuality. But I never, you know, I never really saw myself necessarily. 

[00:09:29] Selphie I never really saw like like I’m like I have sex with, like, everybody. I like all different types of people. And, you know, you see a lot of trans women in porn. And just like there, we’re really, really forced into like a specific genre most of the time. And I don’t know, I want to do porn and I want to keep doing porn because I want I want to be that porn star that I wish I’d seen when I first started watching porn, you know, like.

[00:10:11] Tessa So this is actually my second CrashPad and my second my porn shoot ever. 

[00:10:17] Tessa And I particularly like shooting here because it feels very like empowering and free. You know, like I feel like a lot of pornography is kind of like these very particular like categories and fetishes. 

[00:10:34] Tessa And so that you kind of have to, you know, stick with. It’s nice to be able to just kind of like be more free in how you have sex without so many guidelines. 

[00:10:45] Tessa But that being said, you know, I’m thinking, I probably might do some other porn work in the future. 

[00:10:54] Tessa And I’m still trying to decide how I feel about it, but I generally feel empowered by doing this work. 

[00:11:02] Tessa And I think it’s important for myself and, you know, for other people like me to, to see me on film and see like a different representation of what a trans woman is or what fucking is supposed to look like, you know.
