(Shine Louise Houston, off camera): Action.
And rolling. Yep. Sweet.
So glad you called me over for a massage…
So how’d you enjoy the shoot today?
Well I thought it went very well. I thoroughly enjoyed it from beginning to end and the middle was good too. By the way.
Right on.
Yeah I really liked it as well.
Like it was so awesome for us to finally work together.
It’s been a… We’ve been talking about it for a long time.
It’s been like well over a year right?
I think about two, two and half years maybe.
Yeah something like that.
So how did it go for you?
Did you have any challenging parts of it?
Valerie: Well. I mean overall the scene once was awesome and what not. I guess the most challenging part for me was I came in sore from pole dancing the other night. I’m part of this show called Dirty Queers and we do a monthly thing at The Stud here in SF
Jacquie: – I’ve never been there so.
Valerie: – It’s really a place for queer empowerment and body positivity and that’s good. I made my debut on the pole.
Jacquie: You sound like you feel really good about that.
Valerie: I feel great. But you know coming into this all sore, and so I was like OK come on Val you can do it.
You know what. It was awesome.
Oh yeah.
Oh yeah.
I had a great time and it is good to know that you did too.
That’s important.
It’s always good to talk about like safe sex practices like what are some your’s?
You know safety first right.
Well of course I believe in you know that myself but when I shoot my films I typically want to have everything bareback and I think condoms on videos are distracting and I just don’t want to see it. So you know of course you know I keep my testing up to date always and I also demand recent testing for my other cast members as well.
But I don’t really have sex with people outside of the industry just because it’s safer.
That’s good. Yeah I mean I always stay on top of my testing and I don’t really do much in the way of seeing clients outside of porn anymore.
Aside from my pro Domme work but that’s very different.
Yeah it is very different thing altogether.
When I was seeing clients I always had them get tested.
You know even though when I film with people for Black Swan or any other thing and I’m doing you know I always like to make sure everyone’s tested and knows their status.
That’s good.
I always like to keep condoms on toys and clean them afterward.
Because civilians — as I call them “civilians” or those that are not in the industry — so few of them ever get tested and some never get tested ever so…
So was there anything about the scene that was challenging for you?
Jacquie: Actually no.
Valerie: No?
Jacquie: Not at all. I’m a bit of a size queen so you know I really like large implements of “ass destruction” or “weapons of ass destruction” as I call. I experienced that. So that was like really nice. And that’s not a problem for me at all. It’s very enjoyable. This was very smooth.
This actually seems pretty easy for you though. Most people struggle with this one.
Well I’ve had plenty of practice.
I took another one.
I do.
No one’s been able to take it though.
Well it sounds like a challenge to me.
You’ve done porn before. Why do why do you continue to do it?
I actually have been doing it for quite a few years even before I came to California but I was on a much smaller scale because I came from North Carolina. It’s a vast wasteland for porn for performers though, they’re just not there right. I started my own production company out here.
Valerie: What’s the name of your company?
Jacquie: Oh I call it the Blu Dreamz because my old man my name is Jacquie Blu and you said I’ve been sticking with the blue thing it’s the it’s my brand.
Da bu dee da bu di.
Yeah. So it’s like a, so I spell blu you know. Same as my last name B-L-U. There is no E the E is silent. So silent it’s not even there. And Dreamz is spelled with Z. So just to be a little unique. But I’ve done pretty much every I’ve been in entertainment my entire life. I’d spent 20 years doing live theater. I’ve worked on 47 major motion pictures. I’ve done television I’ve worked with a lot of musicians and bands. So porn for me it was a natural progression but also like a final frontier. It’s something I’ve been wanting to do since I was quite young and now I’m doing it and I am so happy, you know I feel so… It’s a very… I love my work. I just love my work and I can’t think of anything else I’d rather be doing. I don’t think, I’m never going to retire even if I’m not performing anymore I’m still going to be producing and directing. So I’m here to stay.
Valerie: That’s awesome. That’s really awesome.
Jacquie: And how about you?
Valerie: Yeah I’ve done porn before.
I heard that about you.
This is actually my my second shoot with CrashPad.
Alright. Excellent.
I hope to do more myself in the future.
Oh yeah. I too have my own company Black Swan Productions that’s based on queer empowerment and kink and all that. Body positivity.
Well you need a body to do porn.
Well that’s right.
It helps to get around too.
Yeah I’ve worked with some other companies and why not.
And you know I do it as a matter of erotic art.
I love, I love art because I do music, I do writing, I do that.
I even have a sex ed vlog on YouTube.
I didn’t know that.
For me porn is something else that was kind of a natural progression. You know especially as a queer trans woman and like so many people I look up to so many trans women I look up to are in porn and whatnot. Like when I when I came out like 10 years ago the only person I had to look up to was was Bailey Jay. And that inspired me.
She’s gotten a lot of coverage.
That’s right.
You know and so I do it for activism especially now being post-op, a lot of people have told me that I have no future in porn.
Oh that’s bologna.
And so I’m like You know what, I yeah I do.
You make your own future.
And it’s as simple as that.
I’m here to stay too.
Cause I was told by you know by an owner of a large company that I will not name right and have that I would never make it as a model or adult actress but see instead of. Instead of making me, you know, make me want to quit, it just made me more determined.
That’s right.
And I’m glad you’re here.
To prove myself.
The biggest mistake anybody can ever make is to tell me I can’t do something, because one way or another I will prove you wrong.
And of course you know I always like to say with every sort of thing I do. Fuck SESTA and FOSTA.
Oh God.
To death with SESTA/FOSTA.
We just need to stay united and fight it.
Here Here.
Thank you very much.
