JAMESON: I had a lot of fun. You know, it’s always a good week when I can get a good fist in.

JAMESON: So did you find anything challenging?

JUSTIN: Umm, yeah, so we had planned on wrestling in advance and that was a big part of how we were going to get into it. Get the adrenaline going so, yeah, when we got here, the bed is high and bouncy.

JAMESON: Also there’s wooden frames which, if you have knees, you can hurt a little but that’s fine. I’m good with pain.

JUSTIN: So Jameson what are your safe sex practices and why?

JAMESON: Ah, generally I um, keep those I swap fluids with, um, I kind of test before, make sure I’m good and then generally will test afterwards before I go with somebody else. Also, just having talks about statuses. I’m also part of a HIV vaccine trial so I get tested every three months. Any they’re really great. They’re like, “If you play around you can stop by here anytime and get tested because you’re part of our trial.” So I get poked a lot more than probably the average person but I just think by, ah, being transparent with play partners and myself kind of keeps it as safe as possible. Yeah, my, I have friends who I play with who are positive then we just take the proper procedures to keep it safe. So –

JUSTIN: Yeah, and I’m also on PrEP so I get tested every three months also. Um, and swabs and things. Not just tested for HIV. They test for everything. Um, I generally use barriers pretty frequently, especially if I don’t know someone that well regardless what they would say about their status. Um, so, you know, also to prevent from pregnancy and stuff like that. I generally use barriers. Um, for partners I’m with regularly if we know each other’s statuses and we know each other well enough to talk and trust and whatever. Um, so, and just kind of knowing each other’s behaviours. Um, I might negotiate around that like, kind of, when we both got tested a couple of weeks ago and talked about it before our shoot, we decided it was okay to go ahead without barriers. Um, but it’s kind of situational for me. It depends on what I’m doing and how well I know the person and what activities I’m doing and what I’m willing to risk.

JAMESON: Yeah, to me, part of safe sex is I’m feeling comfortable in what I’m doing. Um, so I guess that also leads into it.

JUSTIN: Yeah, safe sex is, like, potentially not even just disease prevention. It’s, like, when you’re playing and doing something kinky, like, having, you know, people who know where you are. Like, knowing the people you’re playing with.
