OLIVIA: How did you enjoy the shoot today?
VIVI: I had a lot of fun. I really enjoyed the shoot. How ’bout you?
OLIVIA: I enjoyed the shoot as well. It was very fun.

VIVI: So, what was challenging for you?
OLIVIA: Umm. . . I think, like, being sexually assertive was challenging for me, because when I have sex with people I’m initially kind of shy. And I. . . In theory I’m not, but when it happens I’m like “oh, I don’t know, I’m nervous.” [laughs]
VIVI: Uhh, for me, I feel like it was the opposite. Like I had a really easy time being assertive, and just kinda having a lot of fun in, like, that umm. . . that role. And, uhh, I think it was the, like, kind of letting myself be submissive in this scene was a bit hard, but I was just having so much fun that I didn’t want to let go of that.

VIVI: What do you think about that?
OLIVIA: I like it.
VIVI: Yeah? You like it?
OLIVIA: Yeah. I like being bruised.

OLIVIA: Uh huh. Oh yeah [laughing]

VIVI: What are your safe sex practices and why?
OLIVIA: Um. . .I. . . use condoms, pretty, like, ya know, pretty much all the time. ‘Cuz I don’t want to get pregnant and be. . . I don’t want to get an STI. And, sometimes I use dental dams, but only sometimes, depending on the situation. Um. . . and sometimes I use gloves, but not usually. And. . .I guess, I just want to keep myself safe and not put anybody else at risk by like, you know, staying clean. So.
VIVI: Same here. Um. . .with my primary partner I don’t use condoms, but when I have other partners in life, I do use condoms. I get tested regularly. Um. . .in scenes when I’m allowed the option, sometimes I will use condoms just for fun.
OLIVIA: Yeah.
VIVI: And because, you know, because I think it’s nice to be real on screen.
OLIVIA: Mm
VIVI: Um. . . but mainly, just being really open about my sexual practices with everybody that I meet, even ??? and making sure that everybody’s OK with everything before going into playing.
OLIVIA: Yeah, that’s real. That’s very important to me, open and honest about your sexual practices. You know? Communication is key, I think, to stay safe. At least in my experience.

VIVI: Ever used one of these before?
OLIVIA: I’ve had them used on me before.
VIVI: Um. . .and then we can switch. Will you give me some kisses down here so that I can (???)
OLIVIA: Mmhm.

VIVI: Well, if you’ve done porn, why do you continue to do it? And if not, why did you choose to do it today?
OLIVIA: Well, I’ve never done porn with someone else. I’ve only done porn by myself, essentially. Um. . . and I do photo stuff. But, I’ve been feeling, like, this was a good way for me to break into the porn world with someone else, you know? ‘Cuz it was like, comfortable, and [clears throat] and is comfortable, and, like, um. . .it was like really fun and um, I didn’t really feel like there was, like, somebody telling me what to do or like telling me to do things that made me feel uncomfortable. Um. . . but I do want to continue doing porn because um, I don’t know. I think. . . I think it’s like really liberating for me, essentially, and my sexuality, although I feel like I’m pretty sexually liberated as it is, it’s just like one more step in that direction. So. . . what about you?

VIVI: Um. . .I love porn. [giggling] I like to watch porn, I’ve always really had fun with porn. And, uh, it’s really nice to be on the other end to say, to be able to say “I do porn, and I have fun at it, and I do it because I want to do it” because, you know, it makes me feel good and it’s another way to express myself. And also, I didn’t think that I could do porn when I started doing porn. I didn’t think that people would want to cast me or I didn’t see many people like me in porn and I started with little projects and it was nice to know that, like, you know, you could have scars on your body and be in porn and you could not be everything. Like, you know, I don’t have big breasts and I am Latin-American and I’m very proud of who I am and I kinda push that forward, where other people say like, “Oh, well, you might have trouble doing porn because of these things,” well that’s why I do porn because I want to be one of those people and I want to be able to be part of that example for other people. And also, like, it’s really nice being in a world that’s so open um about your sexuality. I chose to do CrashPad because I really love projects like this. I really love coming in here and, coming in with a friend and having fun in front of a camera and showing that. There was a lot of time when we were smiling and having so much fun.

OLIVIA: Yeah, it’s true.
VIVI: And, um,
OLIVIA: We were laughing a lot.
VIVI: And um I was really having so much fun and I don’t know what my laugh is going to look like on camera, but I think it’s going to be great being able to have that kind of chemistry on camera.
OLIVIA: Yeah, it was really fun. It like felt pretty comfortable.
VIVI: Yeah, very comfortable and real.
OLIVIA: Yeah.

VIVI: Well, I say that, overall, like, it’s been a really positive experience for me to work with Crash Pad and to do porn in general. And, um, I think that a lot of the time, people let themselves get into the mentality that, you know, that it’s not a positive experience for people and it’s so nice. You can really take it into your own hands and only do what you want to do and really have fun doing it, you know? Like, so, I love porn [laughing]

OLIVIA: Porn’s pretty cool and Crash Pad’s pretty cool. The thing I liked was there were no shitty dudes bossing me around. [laughing] I guess. Which is like a big thing in porn, and like photo stuff. It’s like mean, domineering dudes, like, being jerks. Which is like, whatever, but I don’t know, Crash Pad is comfortable and everyone was really chill and comfortable and nice and like accommodating and I really liked that. And I really like this project and a lot of my friends have done it, which is also really cool, so [laughing] yeah.
