Sadie Lune: What are your safest sex practices? And why?

Hayley Fingersmith: Erm…I get tested a lot in my partners do too, and I’m not actually especially diligent about barrier use, but I do when my partners want to or in situations where I feel like it’s a good idea. (nod)

And I also try, although I’ve got a little bit out of practice with this lately, to have conversations before I have sex with people about their testing status and barrier use, and things like that. And I feel that’s nice to just open up the door of communication about…like, that like…I’m…I’m…I’m not particularly afraid of STIs, I think it’s totally fine. You can have an STI, let’s just talk about it. And then I also get tested pretty regularly.
