JOLENE: California, we really got screwed over um because Prop 35 passed which affects the entire state, um, and as a sex worker, Prop 35 is like the scariest piece of legislation that’s been passed in California since I’ve been working, um, it really terrifies me, like I’m, I’m scared of being able to work safely and stay away from law enforcement, and then of course, Measure B in Los Angeles, which doesn’t affect us up here in San Francisco, but the porn industry in general, um, is set up to really suffer from that. And I want to urge everyone that’s watching this to please, please, please, like, think about the porn stars, think about the sex workers whenever you vote, and um, I want to try to and organize some resistance to Prop 35 because I’m angry and scared.
JACQUELINE: Well, um, I am too, I mean, it was, it’s wrapped in a piece of legislation bacon.
JOLENE: Yeah, it looks like, like the anti-kitten kicking bill.
JACQUELINE: Yeah, exactly.
JOLENE: You know-

JACQUELINE: But you have to look into how those things are done.
JOLENE: M-hmm.
JACQUELINE: You know, and a lot of people are not going to go through and read all of prop 35 and see everything that’s in there.

JACQUELINE: And I would suggest you go, go look –

JOLENE: Go find out about how your ability to have consensual, safe, adult sex, however you want to, is being violated.
JACQUELINE: Yeah, and it is, and it’s a matter too if like, if somebody is a sex worker, their, their children and their partners are affected –
