[Intro music]
Frankie: You did you enjoy the shoot today, Nomi?
Nomi: Amazing. I had a really great time. Yeah. Playing and everything. I thought we just really flowed together, really well. How did you enjoy the shoot?
Frankie: Yeah, I would say the same. It felt just so easy to dive into. It was fun. We got to be silly but sexy. And we can go from delicious to vicious.
When you pinned me down – or pushed me down – it was great!
I loved it.
It was pretty fun.
Frankie: What was challenging for you?
Nomi: I experience a lot of anxiety. And so like, you know, coming in here, feeling nervous, and never having shot with this studio before, feeling impostor syndrome hits hard. But in general, everything was great and you are awesome and I really appreciated how easy it was just flow.
Frankie: Yeah. Yeah. For sure.
Nomi: What about you? What was challenging for you today?
Frankie: For me, I’m such an anxiety human. But it often goes into the back of my brain. I have a very thick mask but that mask like totally dissipates when I’m like bent over on a bed in my hands are shaking like this [mimics a rattling noice] But it didn’t like at all, remove me from being able to enjoy and interact, and it just felt more and more comfortable as we continued.
Nomi: One thing that helped me with my nervousness was you just touching me before the scene and stuff like that
Some closeness. That was nice.
Definitely.
So what are your safer sex practices.
Well, we discussed things like STIs and getting tested, all the bodily fluids are being checked and communicated about.
Another safety thing that I was doing earlier was ‘what are you planning on doing in this scene?’
Kind of give me a play-by-play.
So my head can get in the game
Yeah
Sometimes that also helps like the anxiety.
So that was great.
How about you?
Nomi: So…. I take PrEP* [(pre-exposure prophylaxis medicine for those at risk for HIV] just to make sure cuz I don’t like, I don’t like feeling scared of HIV. I get tested regularly at least once a month. Also, I use condoms with everyone. You know, except for oral. That’s the thing that I generally don’t do. I have this kind of conversation with everybody that I play with. What brought you in to shoot some porn today? I don’t know, it’s a more full expression of myself and I get to push on that boundary of modesty by being in a sex positive culture and by being in porn I’m somehow pushing those boundaries of what is socially acceptable.
Frankie: Fuck yeah.
Nomi: But also, you know, selfish reasons. I am an exhibitionist slut, why not be on camera and paid for it.
Frankie: Yes you are! The best kind!
Nomi: Why thank you. What about you? Why do you shoot porn?
Frankie: Oh my gosh. Let’s see. I love it. And I guess for me it’s also really exciting to be able to be a sensualist and do this work too and to get off on like, all of the claws for example. And like, all of the ways that our whole entire body is an orifice of pleasure than that can, it’s not just, you know, the genital area and it can be absolutely anywhere and I was just love exploring all the different ways that we can send ourselves into bliss and just by touching in interesting places and getting to experience different feelings tactile, ah!
Plus my ADHD soul is just like ‘Mmm give me all the tactile!’
(Laughs)
Yeah. And also just being able to do this stuff with really cool people.
Frankie: What did you enjoy from quarantine?
Nomi: Enjoy?
Frankie: Was there anything that came up?
Nomi: Yeah, um… It was suddenly socially acceptable to be spending a Friday at home. I was pretty nice.
Frankie: True.
Nomi: Which might have been already what I was doing. When we have this under control, I’m excited for the future I’m excited for intentionality. And what people do and who people choose to have in their lives Watching cheesy movies, David Bowie on the big screen at home. I’ll go with that. Okay. What about you?
Frankie: I got to do a drag show from in my own place. And you know, it just felt really good to be able to still connect with art in that way. And even though my whole entire scene was very blurry and no one could tell what I was doing I knew what I was doing and then afterwards have little after party on Zoom, you know, it was just like you just find new ways to connect people.
Nomi: For sure.
Frankie: I mean for me as a person who’s very in presence.
Nomi: Oh, I totally left out camming. That was a lot of fun over quarantine.
Frankie: Yes! Love that. Sounds hot.
Nomi: Another way to connect with people. Yeah.
Frankie: Yeah, got any… videos…?
