Papí Coxxx: So Golden Curlz, um, how did you enjoy the shoot today?

GC: I really enjoyed it. I had, um, a really good time. I was really nervous, um, before we started, um, mostly because you’re my porn crush

PC: [Laughs]

GC: So… I’m fucking stoked about that

PC: I did not know that

GC: I know, I was like trying really hard not to say anything [Laughs]

PC: [Laughs]

GC: before the shoot, but.. yeah. I.. yeah – I’ve been watching you since I bae’d for crashpad..

PC: [Laughs]

GC: Um.. so.. I really enjoyed myself. How did you enjoy this.. the shoot?

PC: I enjoyed myself. I mean it’s always a little nerve wracking when you haven’t met the person and you’re trying to negotiate and stuff but..

GC: Yeah

PC: ..once it gets down to it, it’s about energy.. and so

GC: Yeah

PC: ..once we were there it was fine, um.. and I liked that we made it fun – I’ve never had like a really silly, fun, uh, shoot. So I enjoyed that

GC: Good. A fan of silly

PC: Yeah [Laughs]

GC: [Breathing deeply] Oh

PC: The tutu doesn’t come off

GC: [Laughs] I wouldn’t dare take it off. I need gloves. [Laughs]

PC: So what do you think was challenging about the shoot?

GC: Um.. I think the.. the most challenging thing were the nerves and, um, just figuring out what we wanted to do.

[Off Camera]: PC: Mmm hmm

GC: Um.. yeah, it’s.. it’s different when, um.. um, when I, we don’t have like a sexual connection before

[Off Camera]: PC: Right

GC: the shoot so it’s like we have to figure out what

[Off Camera]: PC: Right

GC: we like.. um. But yeah I feel like the energy.. um.. I.. yeah. I.. I’m definitely like an energy checker so it’s

PC: Mmm hmm

GC: ..really all about..

PC: Yeah

GC: ..figuring that out.

PC: Mmm

GC: What about you, what was, um, the most challenging.. um, part of the shoot?

PC: It was the tutu [Laughs] Even though I did not want it to come off..

GC: [Laughs]

PC: ..it was an integral part of the scene – I kept on having to fluff it up so I could see so I could put.. things.. in [Laughs]

GC: [Laughs]

PC: So that was it

GC: [Laughs] Yeah that’s real

GC: I need gloves. [Laughs]

PC: [Laughs] Somewhere

[Off Camera]: [Crew]: Umm.. in the bag

[Off Camera]: [Crew]: Yeah, there’s some.. uh..

GC: Oh these are good. Oh my god. [Laughs] Oh my god!

PC: [Laughs]

GC: This is why I can’t come first..

PC: [Laughs]

GC: Take me outta the mission.. Okay I got this.. That’s why I drink coffee.. ok..

PC: So what are your safe sex practices?

GC: Um.. my number one is communication. Um.. um.. I am non-monogamous so I frequently will have multiple partners, um.. so, I think that most important thing for me is knowing who my partner’s partners are and what their boundaries are and they from there, you know, sort of create our boundaries. Um.. but I love dental dams I have condoms, I always have condoms and um.. latex gloves. What about you what are your safe sex practices?
PC: Um.. it is.. I.. I’m the same I identify as poly-amorous, so I’m always talking about safer sex practices among multiple people. Uh.. and I actually do love doing that. That for me it’s like foreplay.. um, just talking about what you wanna do, what you desire.. so I do love the communication piece, that’s number one. And, um.. I’m, uh, sober five years, so sober sex is.. a must

GC: Yes

PC: I can’t be with anyone who..

GC: Yeah

PC: ..not that I’m downing anyone.. but.. I don’t want to engage sexually if someone’s had more than two drinks. That’s.. I think that’s my..

GC: Mmm hmm

PC: ..my thing.. um.. and it’s all about gloves and condoms.. and I’m not a fan of dental dams, so.. but I don’t, um.. normally put my mouth on anyone unless we have, um.. a different kind of a relationship..

GC: Yeah

PC: ..and it’s negotiated, and I’ve talked to and informed other lovers, so there’s always the communication piece, yeah.

GC: I’m glad you, um, said something about the sober, um, sober sex cuz that’s also been.. that’s been a frequent, um, thing in my like, in my sex, in my sexual life, lately, so, um.. that’s, that’s like really important. I do, um.. like that’s something that I like to communicate with my partners and know.. if that is happening, then it’s happening ahead of time

PC: Right, right.

GC: Ohhh (moaning).. yes.. oh my god.. oh.. oh fuck.. oh.. oh.. oh god.. oh god..

PC: So you’ve done porn before, and so why do you keep coming back?

GC: Mmm.. I love crashpad

PC: [Laughs]
GC: Foreverrr!! Um.. I.. yeah, I love celebrating um.. sexual freedom. My, like, queer sexual freedom, and.. I, like, I.. it’s almost.. sort of, like a.. like a practice of like being in my body, and, like, um.. um.. being able to, like, be in the now. And like and like.. um.. I don’t know I think porn has a really, um.. it like echoes who you are? Sometimes? Um, in video, so I think, um.. look.. like, looking back on it, it can sometimes be like really scary, like.. watching yourself perform I don’t.. like to do it.. but I know that like, um.. who I am as a person, and like how I grow as a person? Um.. can sometimes include, um.. watching.. watching myself, and, like, watching how I grow

PC: Right right

GC: And.. AND.. um.. um.. I think that it is included in my sex work, because sex work is a.. is a very, um.. important part of my life that is fluid – but is, um.. I think, like, forever.

PC: Mmm

GC: You know? Like sex work is always gonna be my life. And so I think it’s just really important to see the ways that I change with it, and to see the ways that it changes me

PC: Yeah

GC: What about you? Why are you.. why do you keep coming back?

PC: I, for me I think um.. queer, feminist porn is a huge part of my.. um, my journey, my survivor journey. You know, um.. I’m a survivor of, um.. sexual abuse and sexual assault, and it took a long time to become a positive, like, in my body sexual being? That truly enjoyed things..

GC: Yeah

PC: ..and was able to verbalize things, and.. queer feminist porn like really embodies that. Like, so I can come here.. like, we didn’t know each other, but we e-mailed each other, we called or we talked, we got here, we talked some more, that.. that makes me feel powerful. So every time I negotiate..

GC: Yeah

PC: ..every time I use my body the way I want to use it? It makes me feel more powerful.

GC: Yeah

PC: And it’s fun! I get to be with like hot queer folks! And, you know, and.. uh.. I enjoy myself, I get paid for it.. um.. and.. yeah, it just, it.. I.. it’s something that I feel like as long as I can do it? I’m going to keep doing it. Like I’m gonna be 50 and 55 and still call crashpad and be like ‘hey I’m in town.. can I, uh.. come by?’ [Laughs]

GC: [Laughs] Yes

PC: And see what can happen, because I.. I just feel like.. um.. it it makes.. it also makes us visible – like I’ve done crashpad in a variety of different bodies? And identities?..

GC: Exactly

PC: ..and I feel so comfortable coming back and doing it. I look completely different from when I came on the last time.. um.. and I’ll probably look different again.. uh, when I come back, and I love that it’s like just.. it is what it is. It’s acceptable, it’s..

GC: Mmm hmm

PC: ..everyone is just like, um.. seen.

GC: Yes.

PC: We’re seen. Yeah

GC: Yeah
