Annika:  Um, no, um, I mean I guess being sort of the submissive can be a little nerve-wracking because, I’m like, I have to be the one making all the noise in this scene, and y-, you know, just, you know really being a little slave, being a little bitch and just um, keeping, keeping the flow going, and keeping it interesting.
Rozen:  Mm-hm.
Annika:  Um, since I guess, since I’m I was the bottom like my pussy was kind of the center of what was, it was kind of the main point..

Annika:  Um, but you know, scenes are always like that, there’s always an element of that in porn, eh, so, but other than that, it was just, it was fun.

Annika:  Um, I shot um, a couple scenes earlier this year, um, and I shot a couple scenes last year for some like very obscure S & M companies, um, and I actually just moved here to the West Coast to do it full time. Um, because it’s a super fun thing to do for a living, and um, it’s actually, doing porn kind of helped me kind of find my, like for, sounds cheesy, but it kind of helped me find my soul during a couple of really rough patches in my life, like there was a phase once where I just like wasn’t feeling passionate about anything, I was just very bored and depressed, and I came to San Francisco and I did some really crazy porn. And it made me feel excited and scared and thrilled and all these different things, and ever since then, I’ve just been so much happier.
Rozen:  Awesome
Annika:  So, there’s that little personal component to it.
Rozen:  Yay.
Annika:  And um, yeah, and also, b-, you know, it’s, it’s a fairly leisurely lifestyle, like you ideally you shoot a couple times a week, you know, an hour, and you’re, you know, being paid to basically have fun, so (Laughs)
Rozen:  Yeah, I, I’ve been shooting porn on and off since 2006.
Annika:  Mm-hm.
Rozen:  And I just recently came back in the last six months, and I love it.
Annika:  Mm-hm.
Rozen:  Um, and I’m going to continue doing it because, um, it’s making art with my body, like it’s-

Rozen:  -Super amazing and I get to choose how I present myself to the world, and whether it’s purple hair which I used to have, or brown hair, or piercings, or tattoos and what not, and get to have sex, you know, the way I want to have sex, and –

Rozen:  And, um, and it’s just fun and it pushes myself and so.
Annika:  Mm-hm.
Rozen:  I’m definitely continuing.
Annika:   Yeah, at times it definitely pushes my limits, especially if I’m filming with like an S & M company.

Annika:  Um, so there’s something very invigorating about it, like, I would say, I tend to feel like kind of a sexual athlete, or a sexual actress when I’m in porn.

Rozen:  And just recently, probably within the last two years, I started editing videos.

Rozen:  And I co-directed it with my really good, close, best friend, and also CrashPad alumni, or, you know, favorite, Dylan Ryan.

Rozen:  Um, and she starred in it, and we both co-directed it, and um, and it was, um, amazing to kind of be part of the process.

Rozen:  And know what it’s like to be in front of the camera, but then be behind the camera-

Rozen:  And watch it just happen, and, it’s magic behind the camera as much as it’s magic in front of the camera, so it’s kind of, I don’t know, it’s really fascinating, so.
Annika:  That is really awesome.
Rozen:  Yeah, it’s kind-
Annika:  I want to see it.
Rozen:  Well, you can, it’s in, it’s in a bunch of film festivals, so-

Annika:  Well, I’m thrilled to finally work with CrashPad, um, because you know, it’s a very, it’s so original and just so visionary and unique, and I’ve just, I have nothing but respect for this company.  And it was like one of the first ones I discovered when I was kind of looking into like alternative porn, like lesbian porn, m so yeah, I’m really thrilled, and um, love to work with you guys again.
