Voice off Camera: … walking into where you’re walking.
EMMA CLAIRE: Oh yeah sure. Right here?
VOC: Yeah.
EMMA CLAIRE: Okay.
VOC: So I can get you into focus.
EMMA CLAIRE: I like that top.
ARABELLE RAPHAEL: It is ridiculous.
EMMA CLAIRE: It’s like… it’s like… yes! It like a superhero top.
ARABELLE RAPHAEL: It totally is.
EMMA CLAIRE: Like a porn super hero.
ARABELLE RAPHAEL: Right.
VOC: [inaudible] Kill the lights.
VOC ARABELLE RAPHAEL: Yep.
VOC: Thank you.
ARABELLE RAPHAEL: Should we start all low… we don’t need to start over?
VOC: Yes.
2: Okay, okay.
EMMA CLAIRE: Oh, got it.
VOC: Start walking up. Start walking. And…
SCENE
VOC: Good, I got you.
VOC 3: Got you.
VOC: Thank you. All right. Hold on, hold on. [inaudible]
INTERVIEW
EMMA CLAIRE: So, how did you enjoy the shoot today?
ARABELLE RAPHAEL: It was a lot of fun. I’m really glad we got to shoot. It was a perfect ending to my Bay Area trip. So… it was awesome.
EMMA CLAIRE: It’s wonderful. Awesome.
ARABELLE RAPHAEL: How did you like it?
EMMA CLAIRE: It was really great. It was fantastic. Yeah. Such a pleasure to work with you. And um, yeah. It was… I was really enjoying that.
SCENE
ARABELLE RAPHAEL: The [inaudible] was bad already.
2: Oh yeah.
2: [inaudible] shoved up my fist in your mouth. That already goes.
INTERVIEW:
ARABELLE RAPHAEL: That was a lot of fun. What was challenging for you.
EMMA CLAIRE: I don’t know. I guess, probably focusing, like, rubbing myself, like my rubbing my clit and you grinding on my face. That was a little challenging.
1: That was a little challenging. Yes, like’s… no seriously, that’s kind of silly but like, I’m just like so many things going on at the same time. But, in a good way. What’s challenging for you about this scene?
ARABELLE RAPHAEL: Mine is… it’s always kind of the same. I… it’s always when it’s new people. And you get to know… getting to know what they like. Or whatever. We were pretty good about that. So that was not too hard, but that’s usually like… usually like… my concern with going into shoots. Is always kind of like “I want to make them feel good… and fuck them before.”
EMMA CLAIRE: Exactly.
2: Hopefully it did.
EMMA CLAIRE: Right.
ARABELLE RAPHAEL: But, I think… I think we did okay!
EMMA CLAIRE: That was some great chemistry. I felt. So, it was super fun.
ARABELLE RAPHAEL: Yes.
SCENE
EMMA CLAIRE: Look how sweaty I am.
ARABELLE RAPHAEL: I don’t care.
EMMA CLAIRE: I can do that.
ARABELLE RAPHAEL: Oh my god.
EMMA CLAIRE: That’s so hot.
ARABELLE RAPHAEL: Do you like that?
INTERVIEW
2: Have you done porn before?
EMMA CLAIRE: Yes, yes. And I love making porn. So, yeah, there’s like… I love coming out to the Bay Area from Chicago and… you know… it’s just another great privilege to just to work with queer porn and feel like… you know… my body is represented well and… yeah, I’m just all about that… I have… yeah… shooting for CrashPad is wonderful.
ARABELLE RAPHAEL: Awesome.
EMMA CLAIRE: So, what about you? You are… why do you keep continuing doing porn?
ARABELLE RAPHAEL: Um, I really like to be able to… it’s like… sexual performance… art.
EMMA CLAIRE: Totally.
2: I like being able to express myself sexually. It’s a medium that I can do that. I like to also… I feel like… we also get to… also… kind of educate people too. I don’t know. There are a ton of reasons. I love making porn and hopefully I will keep for a while. Yeah, it’s just creative for me.
EMMA CLAIRE: Yeah, totally. Yeah, for me, it’s like very liberating to find queer porn and stuff and find my own gender and sexuality and stuff. And that’s so… I love being part of that too.
ARABELLE RAPHAEL: Oh, totally. Funny. I actually I figured I was queer after a CrashPad shoot.
EMMA CLAIRE: Oh! That’s super cute.
ARABELLE RAPHAEL: No joke. Like I’m not kidding. Yeah. I like didn’t know what queer was and I was like “I’m in a… I don’t know what any of this is. Blah, blah, blah.” Yeah, it was after a CrashPad shoot and I then met my ex and it’s like of… that’s kind of… like, yeah, it’s very interesting. So, that’s—
EMMA CLAIRE: That’s very beautiful.
ARABELLE RAPHAEL: —so CrashPad has like… a special place in my heart for CrashPad because I figured out a part of my own identity.
EMMA CLAIRE: Absolutely. Absolutely.
ARABELLE RAPHAEL: So, I’m going to be back.
EMMA CLAIRE: That’s beautiful. Yeah. I’m really actually like… similar to me, probably watching performers like Drew DeVeaux and other trans-feminism people and queer porn made it so much easier to come out as trans. Just because they’re just like a friend… like I’m… identify as a trans dyke and it’s just… wonderful.
ARABELLE RAPHAEL: They are not… represented in anything else.
EMMA CLAIRE: Yeah, that’s true. So, I was really… anyways. Similar but beautiful.
ARABELLE RAPHAEL: Well, thank you for doing this shoot with me. And that was a lot of fun.
EMMA CLAIRE: Thank you. It was. It was lovely.
VOC: Awesome.
