Behind the Scenes 88 – Brooklyn Flaco and Nic Switch – Transcription
Director, Shine Louise Houston: So let’s go ahead and run it one more time. We’re having some small audio issues, but I think its good now. [Snapping] There we go.
NS: How did you feel about the shoot today?
BF: I think it was great
[Laughing]
BF: It was a little awkward because we just met, here at the pad. I had a migraine, but it was really great. I wish I would have been able to bottom because I think you would have been awesome.
NS: [laughs] We’ll have to do another run, another time.
BF: How did you feel about it?
NS: I thought it was really great. I felt really good about it. I was concerned about you not feeling well, but I’m glad we were able to find a way to go about it that worked. I think it was so comfortable. It felt easy. I was worried because we just met and had to go into it, but I felt really comfortable and safe. I felt really good.
BF: Yay. So this is your first time at the Crash Pad, right?
NS: Yes, first time at the Crash Pad.
BF: Why did you decide to do it?
NS: Because I’ve done a couple other projects and I was a fan of the Crash Pad long before I ever did anything.
BF: Who is your favorite?
NS: Somebody who went be Brooklyn.
[laughing]
NS: I wanted to do it just because I think I looked at it as this sort of utopia of queer porn. It just seemed like you could feel the amazing energy coming from it. It was really positive, and that’s the reason why I would want to do porn.
BF: Cool.
NS: You’ve been here before?
BF: Yes.
NS: Why did you come back? [laughs]
BF: I hold a special place for this website. I think that the sex and the porn industry are such bizarre places that are never going to go away. Like I’ve said before; everybody has been telling our story, as women and trans people or people of color, for such a long time that the only way to take ownership of that is by doing it and being involved. I really think sex education is important, and porn is probably the first way that we get to figure stuff out. It’s also a great place to meet people that are hot and slutty. So yeah, I’ll keep coming back…like those 12-step meetings.
[laughing]
[moaning] [yeah]
BF: How ya doing?
NS: Good
NS: Was there anything you found challenging about the shoot?
BF: Usually this part is the most challenging part, which is not because we just stayed here and kept talking. Getting here today was the most challenging part to me. Once I got here, everything was fine. Your body is amazing, and so my mind was a little bit blown. There was nothing challenging about having sex with you, nothing at all.
NS: [laughs] I’m blushing. It was really great and fantastic in many ways. It felt really good. If there was anything challenging it was that I wanted to flip it around, but I know you weren’t feeling well. I was definitely willing to take one for the team and bottom for you.
BF: Nice. Well I’m glad. We did good teamwork.
BF: So yeah, should we talk it through for a second?
NS: Mmhmm
BF: I’m not quite sure how to segway.
NS: Okay. I was thinking I would just sit up and pull your pants off.
BF: Okay.
[laughing]
NS: Does that work for you?
BF: Yes.
[laughing]
Director: You were sitting in between her legs, is the last place we were.
[laughing]
BF: Do you have any burning desires that you want to share with all the anonymous people who could have been watching?
NS: I feel like you were really articulate in your description of why this website is so fantastic. I think you’re right on. In this society unfortunately there is not a lot of opportunity for queer people to see themselves, to learn a lot about sex in general, or explore fantasies. I think that it’s so fantastic that this website exists and that it can inspire other people to provide the same sort of thing.
BF: Cool.
NS: How about you?
BF: I’m hoping to get to do a three-way on camera at some time because I’ve never done that and I’m dying. Why not, this is my favorite thing to do. I think that folks need to keep supporting queer women of color doing everything that we do. So keep supporting this site. Send Shine money, send me money. Just send us money.
NS: I think that’s probably the most important aspect. It can’t exist if we’re all sharing our account.
BF: Give us money.
NS: Yeah.
BF: That’s it.
Director: Thank you.
[Laughing]
BF: Endorse the website.
