JULIE: It was. [unintelligible] sure does know how to throw a party.

KUMA: So, how’d you enjoy the shoot today?

JULIE: I had a great time. The space was really fun, and I was in a great headspace with you.

KUMA: Yeah I liked that.

JULIE: We always have fun playing together.

KUMA: Very true.

JULIE: You bring great energy.

KUMA: (laughing) Thank you. You bring the best out in me, lemme tell ya.

JULIE: It’s easy to roll with, which is always good. You can do just about anything and it’s a surprise, and it’s fun and it’s (KUMA laughing). Did you have fun on the shoot today?

KUMA: I did! I had a spectacular time with you, of course, and you know, things just happened spontaneously, and, umm, you know, flows really well.

JULIE: (unintelligible)

KUMA: Yes. Very much so.

KUMA: I need to quit for a second, I think. I need to drink some water.

KUMA: And you need some water too, I see that. You want some water? Open your mouth. Can we cut
for (unintelligible) for a minute? So I can take this off?

KUMA: Thanks. I hope the water was alright.

JULIE: Was there anything you found challenging today?

KUMA: Umm, yeah, actually, I thought that it would go a lot smoother, because, I mean, the cameras are, you know, are there, and you think that everything would just go, and flow, and kind of, it’s difficult to have that headspace of “there’s nobody here.” (laughing). You know, but I think that it went really well. Was there anything difficult that you found today?

JULIE: Umm, I think working within the confines of the space. A lot of time in playing you have more room to kinda run around, switch rooms, toss them on the floor kinda thing, and it’s a little limiting in that, but still fun (KUMA laughter)

KUMA: Mmm. Mmm-mmm.

KUMA: So, how was your first shoot?

JULIE: My first shoot was awesome. Umm, it’s the first time I was on video camera. I’ve done still, umm, but I don’t…I’m used to having people around when we fuck, and play in different spaces, ummm, but it was almost exactly what I expected. Umm, I expected a little more stop-and-go, but I’m kinda glad that there wasn’t as much. It felt really fluid. The crew was all fantastic, and they’re lovely people

(KUMA laughter) and they made me feel right at home. What about you? How was your…were your expectations met for your first shoot?

KUMA: Yes, this was my first time, and like you said, you know, space is limited, and, ummm, things flew really well though, ummm, and ummm I did expect, like you said, a lot more, ummm, slowing, er, stopping, and, ummm, you couldn’t really do that. It’s awesome.

(offscreen, UNKNOWN SPEAKER: Oh, no, don’t worry about it).

KUMA: How’re we doing so far?

(offscreen, UNKNOWN SPEAKER: Doing great. You’re doing great).

KUMA: Let me just…I want to see what else I have. Which one would you like? Which is your favorite?

KUMA: No, you chose the first one. You like the little short stingy ones, don’t you. (JULIE laughing)

JULIE: So, why’d you wanna make porn?

KUMA: Well, I believe that there is not enough intersex porn out there, and so I wanted to be, ummm, amongst the people that educate the community.

JULIE: That’s a very good answer (laughter from KUMA and JULIE)

KUMA: And why did you want to do porn?

JULIE: Umm, I love acting, quote unquote (laughter from KUMA and JULIE). I think it was a super fun, it was something I wanted to do. I was like “oh, I’ve moved to San Francisco, I’m kinky, I have to make porn.” So, I figure…I get off on local porn, so I might as well make local porn.

KUMA: It was definitely a dream come true for me. Been wanting to do this for a long time. Yep.
