Johnny: What did you enjoy about the shoot today?
J: I really liked how easily we slipped into a dynamic.
Johnny: Absolutely.
J: And I like that you did a lot of things that I hadn’t played with before.
Johnny: Oh!?
J: A lot of people, that I’ve worked with aren’t as into bodily fluids and stuff.
Johnny: Oh, I love bodily fluids!
J: But I think it’s really hot! I’ve never had someone suck their cum out of me.
Johnny: Oh! We’ll definitely do that again.
J: That’s a new thing. I will have that as a thing now.
Johnny: – Yeah! Any kind of bodily fluids I feel like is super fun to me. I also feel like you get into a subspace it seems really easily which is really fun to play with. You’re really easy to move around. You’re super fun to play with also. And you sweat a lot.
J: I know, it’s the testosterone!
Johnny: – I love that! Never stop. (Laughs)
J: What was challenging for you about our shoot?
Johnny: I don’t, honestly, I don’t feel like there was anything challenging for me.
Johnny: I feel like you said we kind of slipped into it pretty easily. It felt very natural. I feel like the chemistry between us is, like, really good. I feel like for me, I think with any performance you have to get into a zone and then be able to perform. But I feel like it just kind of naturally went that way for me. So how about for you?
J: I was a little uncertain how I would be responsive with the blindfold, but I actually think it made it easier. I think it made me more receptive.
Johnny: – Oh good!
J: Oh, I was surprised by that, but it went really well.
Johnny: – Yeah, great. I’m glad to hear that.
J: Because I’ve never done a full scene blindfolded. I’ve done parts of things, but never full scenes that went actually really well.
Johnny: Okay, good. That’s good to know.
Johnny: What are your safer sex practices and why?
J: For me, I run (STI) panels about every two weeks.
Johnny: – Okay.
J: I’m on insurance right now where I’ve gotten it so that Planned Parenthood will cover all the industry standard ones. Including Mgen, which, like, no where does.
Johnny: Yeah.
J: So I do that about every two weeks. And then I’m also very upfront about like any medications or things that I’m taking to people in case that can affect anything.
Johnny: – Right.
J: And I also think that by making sure I’m okay and knowing when to cut things is a safer sex practice for me as well.
Johnny: – Sure.
J: Because it doesn’t hurt either party.
Johnny: -Right. Absolutely.
J: What about you?
Johnny: Yeah. Same. I get, I get tested every three months. I’m on PrEP — DoxyPEP, which I think you are also, and a lot of it, too, I feel like is just talking to any new partners about DoxyPEP specifically. Because I feel like some people still are unaware of it. I feel like that’s pretty helpful to just to spread the word about that.
J: My doctor said that since people have gotten on Doxy, in San Diego, he’s seen a 60% decrease in Chlamydia.
Johnny: – It’s amazing. Yeah, totally.
J: So have you done porn before?
Johnny: Me? Never
J: – Never!? No! This is your first time? You were great.
J: And why?
Johnny: Why? I feel like there’s a lot of reasons. I love sex. I love having sex with new people, with more people, with a lot of people. But also, I feel like because of porn, I’ve gotten to see a lot of places in the US that I otherwise would not have been able to see. Also, I have a level of social anxiety that in the past has been pretty paralyzing. And porn is one of few things that pushed me to put myself in situations that made me uncomfortable and ultimately made me grow and made a lot of things that felt impossible a lot more possible for me. And how about you?
J: I do – I’ve done porn before. Why I continue to do it is…. There are a couple reasons. One, I find it, personally empowering. In my personal life, I’m actually not as sexual, but that’s mostly because we test so often.
Johnny: – Yeah.
J: But I work a lot when I am tested.
Johnny: – Yeah.
J: And, I try to… I do porn because I want to show the variety of trans post-op bodies that can exist, especially for people of color.
Johnny: – Yeah.
J: Because like, when I got my surgery, there wasn’t anyone. Especially, like, my ethnicity is I’m half Japanese. I don’t know a significant number of other post-op Asian folks.
Johnny: – Sure.
J: So I’m trying to raise visibility. Also that you can get surgery the way that you prefer. It doesn’t have to be one or the other.
Johnny: – Right. Yeah. I love that.
J: I feel like it’ll help other people to see that you don’t have to prescribe to what heteronormativity thinks you have to be.
Johnny: – Yes, absolutely.
Johnny: If you could be any sex toy, what would you be?
J: Okay, I would be either one of those, like, scary tentacle dildos. The kind that’s like multiple.
Johnny: – Yeah.
J: So that they’re like, and you’re like, “How?” Just because I would be curious to fit into people, I think.
Johnny: – Yeah.
J: Or I would be one of those anime body pillows.
Johnny: (laughing) Absolutely.
J: They’re sex toys! You can’t say they’re not. I know so many people who use them as sex toys.
Johnny: – Absolutely!
J: What about you?
Johnny: I think that I would….maybe just, like, a Fleshlight dildo combination. Just like a classic. Maybe you hide me under the bed and pull me out when you need me. (laughs)
J: Yeah. You’re small enough. You can fit.
Johnny: I’m already almost there. Yeah, I… I just want to say that, I’m really glad I finally got to film together.
J: I know. We’ve been trying to!
Johnny: Especially for CrashPad because I love these people, and it’s always a great situation. and you’re just… Yeah, you’re really fun to shoot with. And I hope that we shoot a lot more together.
J: – Aw! Yay! I’m really grateful that you wanted to work together. I’m glad that we were able to make everything line up.
Johnny: – Oh, absolutely.
J: And I, I really, really like, respect…I love how much respect you give the entire scene and, like, talking about dynamics and talking about safety. And making sure everyone’s okay.
Johnny: – Oh same to you, yeah!
J: Because not everyone does that. For some people it’s just like wham! And then leave. So it’s really nice that you actually invest emotionally. I really like that we had a whole conversation back and forth about different levels of everything.
J: And then I’m also really thankful to the crew because I’ve wanted to shoot for CrashPad since I was like a little queer 19 year old.
Johnny: (clapping) Yay!
Johnny: Hot!
