Goddexx Mayari: So how did you enjoy the shoot?

Eden: I had a really good time this was a new experience for me and I’m super stoked to have done it with somebody I’m friends with and have built report in playing with, who has had experience and like that, I got to be just really creative with, I especially enjoyed the chia matcha pudding you made us before we got here.

Goddexx Mayari: Oh, yeah. Fueled us.

Eden: Yes. That fueled us. Mmhm. How about you?

Goddexx Mayari: I feel very similarly. I am really happy that I was able to do this with you and also come see you, since you moved, and it was a lot of fun and like, before you moved, we were only able to do, like, a few smaller scenes together, so it’s nice to be able to have something bigger to plan. Very fun and silly. Yeah. I’m really proud of us.

Eden: Yeah, me too. We worked hard, individually and together to be here.

Goddexx Mayari: All of the concepts.

Eden: All the things! Check, check! What, if anything, was challenging about this shoot?

Goddexx Mayari: We had a lot of really big ideas for it, which is really fun. but it was definitely difficult to try and fit everything together and make it cohesive. but I think we did a really good job with that. And then, as we talked about earlier, shoes on the bed…

Eden: Shoes on the bed. Yeah. That was bad. That was blasphemous, even though we were doing our own religion play. And some may consider THAT blasphemous. Shoes on the bed.

Goddexx Mayari: That’s corruption.
Eden: – No!
Goddexx Mayari: That’s blasphemy!
(laughing)

Eden: As I’m sitting here…With my shoes on the bed…
Goddexx Mayari: I’m like, yeah, my dirty ass feets.
Eden: Yeah, but…I think the script remembering, I guess, felt equally important to, like, have those lines be like, these symbols of, like ritual. in what we were doing. And also. Yeah remembering lines and being on camera is hard. But now I know how to do it and I’m like ready for next time.

Goddexx Mayari: Yeah!
Eden: Sounds exciting.
Goddexx Mayari: Yeah we’ve never done a scene like this before either.
That was really cool.
Goddexx Mayari: We just co-dom.
Eden: Been in your cozy room, and now we have this cozy room with the mic above our head.
Goddexx Mayari: It’s nice. It’s not as hot in here.
Eden: Huh? It’s not hot in here?
Goddexx Mayari: It’s not as hot in here. My room heats up.
Eden: – Yeah. That’s true.

Goddexx Mayari: What are your safer sex practices and why?
Eden: I get full panel tested before playing. And… I make sure also that I’ve been sleeping the regular amount that I’m sleeping. That I haven’t been in a prolonged fight, flight, or freeze state. that I have a safety plan for dissociation or over-activation. And then I’m asking that of my partner making sure that they slept and eaten too. Getting tested and going over barrier usage. and… all the different options that we have. And actively doing that as things change and arise, like today.

Eden: Yeah. With, uh, redacted.
Goddexx Mayari: “Redacted.” So true.
Eden: And for you?

Goddexx Mayari: Similar, definitely getting full STI panel tested, usually every three months, but if I’m doing more things or if I have a shoot, I’ll say here, it’s like a two week-long period between when you have sex- I did not word that correctly… Some STIs take two weeks to actually show up on tests so I always try to keep that in mind and also communicate with my partners about their testing and safe sex practices. And who they’re also seeing. And then same. Just like, checking in about how we’re doing as humans, having contingency plans for what might go wrong and like.

Eden: – Contingency plan.
Goddexx Mayari: Yeah. Or like the understanding of that, like, we can’t be fully aware of what all the risks are. And that’s something that’s good to be aware of. but that doesn’t mean that, like, you shouldn’t still think about and plan for things just in case.

Eden: I guess I don’t really say “why” but I mean, my why is because – being able to anticipate creates room to feel and be free and take risks. Testing and having safer sex practices creates trust so that you can take risks. That’s like, my “why”

Goddexx Mayari: Yeah. We do some pretty gnarly stuff.

Eden: So yeah. You’ve done porn before. Why do you continue to do it?

Goddexx Mayari: I think it’s fun. I was a theater kid growing up, so… I love kink and I love sex, but I think that also having, the staging and the outfits and the concepts and stuff is really cool and I like the collaborative-ness of it. I’ve definitely done like solo porn and stuff as well, but it’s not as fun and interesting because I like how we were brainstorming and stuff and bouncing things off….
yeah. What about you?

Eden: Other than, yeah, doing solo DIY cam stuff. This is my first production. You know that. Yeah, I think that’s… I mean, I definitely want to do it again. I really liked it. It’s exciting. And, like, what drew me to it… I think, one, I’m just an exhibitionist.

Goddexx Mayari: For real.

Eden: And two, being able to get paid to do things – fun things – with people you like and are doing cool stuff with on camera, it’s like fucking awesome. And I’ve watched CrashPad a lot before and have really liked it. I really like people’s – like, everyone brings whatever they want to the shoot and I want to be part of that. That feels good.

Goddexx Mayari: What kind of sex toy would you be. If you could be any.

Eden: I think I would be a stainless steel chastity cage.

Goddexx Mayari: Nice. Do you have like reasoning behind it or just the vibes you’re feeling.

Eden: It’s just vibes. (laughs)

Goddexx Mayari: I love that.

Goddexx Mayari: Now I think about it, I’m like, maybe a flogger… or-I like my heart crop, because it leaves heart-shaped marks. And so something like that, but with a different shape. Eden: Now that I’m thinking about it too, have you seen those, spiked paddles that are leather? They’re leather spiked paddles, but they’re, like, tanned or dyed in a way where when they get blood on them, they oxidize and they change color, That’s what I’d be.
