Emma: I mean, staying within testing practices is how I always try to keep it and making sure that co-performance are tested. That’s the biggest one. Yeah. I think that lately my biggest safer sex practices other than testing, which is like the floor, not the ceiling, I guess. But like lately, I think that my biggest safer sex practice has just been having sex with less people.

Apollo: I started- I started off doing porn because I was dipping into my top surgery savings and I needed a way to make money and to survive. So I guess I started off as a survivor sex worker. Emma: I feel like there’s risks that we think about in porn. Like the risk of STIs and stuff like that and the risk of exposure and the risk of, you know,

Apollo: – Family members…

Emma: Losing family members. But like, I also think that the risks that I’m facing in porn have actually been kind of less than the other risks that I’m, I’ve faced before. Like, I definitely feel like this is a lower risk environment than, being a full service sex worker. And I also think this is a lower risk environment than like being a food service worker and like having the potential to, like, hurt my back or not be able to pay my rent on time or anything like that.

And having a lot of big financial concerns that I wasn’t able to address.
