(Intro music)
Fang: How did you enjoy the shoot today?
Etienne: It was fun. It was my first time ever doing that in front of people. So, groundbreaking
(laughs)
Fang: Glad to pop your strawberry
Etienne: What about you?
Fang: Yeah. It was both of our first time. Not on our own. We’ve – We’ve done a lot of videos
throughout our trip up and down in the car, in the mountains, and we both felt — well, I can speak for myself — really safe with you all at the shoot. So it felt really comfortable to… to play in front of everyone
Etienne: Also helps that we have a lot of experience with each other
Fang: practicing
Etienne: Yeah, it’s always enjoyable.
Fang: I mean, not even (Laughs)
Etienne: Next question!
Fang: It feels very natural! It comes very naturally.
Etienne: Oh yeah. What’s next?
(Shine, off camera): Next question is….
Etienne: What was challenge about the shoot?
Fang: I think having
Etienne: The giggles?
Fang: yeah, maybe the giggles and having a second of… like, am I slapping you too much? On camera. Am I choking you too much?
Etienne: Oh, yeah. You coughed at one point, and I was like ‘whoops!’
Fang: And I think usually we talk – we have more of a dialog, not even a dialog, but just communicate more throughout.
Etienne: Yeah. And it was kind of confusing to like know…
Fang: We were trying to stay in character.
Etienne: -Yeah.
Fang: Me being your dream sequence
Etienne: Yeah.
Fang: Wet dream character.
Etienne: I guess also only having like one take is…and so there’s, I don’t know, there’s like a pressure around that. I feel like usually when we’re filming our own videos we kind of just are doing what we normally do without any thought around it. But I feel like it’s harder when you’re like thinking about it. We’re like thinking about angles and stuff.
Fang: yeah, is like, that a good angle of my skirt?
Etienne: Yeah.
Fang: Should I lift my ass up more?
Etienne: And I guess, yeah, I guess just the overall, like, nervousness of it being like, the first time, they just, you know, the nervous giggles. Yeah, but it was still fun.
It was fun.
Fang: Oh, we’re looking at each other.
Etienne: Yeah.
(laughs)
Fang: Why did you want to do porn today?
Fang: Why did we do this shoot?
Etienne: – Because I love you.
(laughs)
Etienne: Because I like having sex with you. Because I’m in love with you.
Fang: Also… I guess it started with we were just posting videos of ourselves making out. Yeah, not like – like, consistently, but we, like, posted, like, a few making out.
Etienne: Casually on our stories.
Fang: – Yeah, on our Instagram stories
But not even like, it wasn’t supposed to be sexual.
It was just like a funny story. And…
Fang: And then our friends — set to Abba –and then our friends, like a few friends, multiple friends told our other best friend, like, we should be like, everyone’s like, “we should be paying for this content.” Like, I feel bad not paying to watch these videos of them making out and so we’re like, I guess we should or could try getting paid. And so we started and we already were recording ourselves sometimes because I just have a camcorder. We both like making videos
Etienne: We’re artists.
Fang: No, we just have a camcorder. This is going on our porn!
Etienne: But yeah. So it was fun to do it like in a DIY sense and yeah, and I feel like this also was a lot more like intimate DIY feeling than I imagined porn productions to be like. You know what I mean? I feel like, yeah, as I was imagining, like, like that one documentary that I made you watch where it’s like a mockumentary about the the lesbian porn – porn stars.
Fang: What was it called?
Etienne: I forget.But –
Fang: – Something love? No.
Etienne: – Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Etienne: Oh! Kamikaze Hearts! Kamikaze Hearts.
Fang: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Etienne: And like, in the in the shoots, there’s like 20 people surrounding them. So I guess that was always intimidating. But the fact that it’s just like, they’re like, it’s just like three really chill people. And we’re usually shooting in a car. Or like, in a canyon. Or like, like driving. So there’s a bunch of people usually surrounding.
Yeah, I guess.
Or like, yeah
We’re used to some public
– behind a tree
we like public stuff
– yeah
Fang: What are your safer sex practices and why?
Etienne: Safer sex practices and why? I guess just like knowing who I’m with in a very like, yeah, I guess that above all knowing who I’m with and like trusting them
Fang: you have strawberry on your ear.
Etienne: Um, obviously like just like hygiene. I guess that’s my big two. Knowing someone very well or enough to have that trust and just like cleanliness but also I don’t know, I like being in the mud too, so.
Fang: Oh yeah, that was another video we made!
Etienne: What about you?
Fang: yeah, I guess being in the terrain so much usually like a level of safety. Should we have rocks and mud inside us? These thorny plants, are they poisonous?
Etienne: What kind of bacteria lives in this pond?
Fang: Are these toxic? Yeah. Plants or are we going to get rashes?
And then also.
– Sometimes it’s worth it!
Yeah.
And then we’ve also gotten in in trouble in other ways, with the park people.
Yeah.
Etienne: Park rangers don’t like us.
Fang: Definitely.
Etienne: That’s their problem. Not our’s.
Fang: Trusting your partner and having well, being connected to them in a way that you can share intimacy with. Um, and I mean, in all relations. Pretty much the same I relate to other any other situation.
Etienne: Yeah.
Fang: Like consenting, with how you want to play and what kind of languages we’re sharing with our body and our words and our affection.
Etienne: Yes. Good communication.
Fang: Yeah. Good communication. Always. And then everything is up for experimentation. Like this. This felt like an experiment. Like, let’s just try it out and see how it goes.
Fang: I guess it was fun coming up with a skit, because usually we’ve also been thinking of, um, I think I like, made another, like, fun video with a friend. Have you ever seen I.K.U…? Has anyone seen I.K.U.? Yeah! Yeah! It’s this beautiful sci-fi porn directed by Shu Lea Cheang and it’s so it’s fun to see how many ways I guess like sexual
Etienne: – or just scenes
Fang: Yeah, or not even sexual, but just yeah, like how to, like, initiate play in like, we like to relate to like the water and dirt and everything. And also we’ve been listening to a lot of alien podcasts. I don’t know, just like how different attractions meld all together and you could create whatever
Etienne: shape your sex life
Fang: Yeah. In funny ways, I guess and it just becomes a big playground
Etienne: Yeah.
