Oran: Yeah. It was so fun. I’m, like, still exhausted. Yeah, I put in work, you know

Oran: Yeah, it was. It was really hot.

Beau: What was most challenging about the shoot?
Oran: Maybe when you hit me in the eye with a Hitachi
Beau: Sorry!
Oran: No, I mean, obviously that was absurd, but the edge of a bed kept hitting my legs when I was fucking you on the edge, which is why I kept having to reset and change.

Beau: That makes sense.

Oran: Otherwise… okay, what was challenging for you? Did you have challenges?
Beau: I mean, I didn’t like hitting you in the face with the Hitachi. No, I didn’t. I didn’t find… I guess I was a little cold, but that was it. Yeah. Yeah.

Oran: It was just living your best life.
Beau: I was. Yeah.

Beau: What are your safer sex practices and why?

Oran: Generally, I get tested every month because I like to be preventative and upfront, but also typically use barriers for penetration, things not always oral. And if I’ve had a conversation with people about testing, except with people I’m fluid-bonded with like you, which is why we didn’t use a condom today.

Beau: Mm hmm.

Oran: What about your’s with other folks who are not me?

Beau: Yeah, I get tested every, like 2 to 3 months, but before, like, shoots, I get a test right before and communicate that with folks and ask that they do the same with folks that I’m not fluid bonded with. I don’t do oral with folks I’m not fluid bonded with. We are fluid bonded so.

Oran: Yep

Beau: But yeah. Like you said having conversations with folks being transparent and being accommodating to people’s needs feels good to me. So. Yeah. Yeah.

Oran: If you’ve porn before, why do you continue to do it?

Beau: I have done porn before. I continue to do it just because it feels really empowering in my trans body to like, in my non-binary body to show what pleasure and sex and play and joy can look like. I really view it as resistance as like revolutionary. The world wants to kill us, you know, the world wants to, like, erase us. And this is a way to center pleasure and joy. And that feels really, really powerful to me. What about you?

Oran: Yeah. Hard same to all of that. It very much is. I mean, I wanted to do porn for the longest time, and I’ve only been in it for a couple of years now. But it had been a long time. because of the visibility aspect and also like, like porn as — like good porn — as safer sex education and, like, emotional health stuff and like, destigmatizing so very much like to be a part of that. And especially anytime there’s like a queer studio doing something, I want to support them.

Beau: Yeah, absolutely.

Oran: What was your favorite part about quarantine?

Beau: I taught myself how to stick and poke tattoos by watching YouTube videos and practicing on myself. So that was fun.

Oran: I was waiting for you to say all the time with me because we were in quarantine together and yes, lots of quality time, lots of quality time. I guess it’s okay that you learned to tattoo. Okay. No. For… Yes, you’re supposed to ask me.

Beau: Oh! What was your favorite part of quarantine.

Oran: Besides all that time with you? I just really love that. Like, we were really fortunate to live really close to a park, and so we spent a lot of time outside that we wouldn’t normally have. And also the impact of not having to commute to work every day had a major healing effect on my disabled body. So that has been something that I learned I need to work from home and now it’s possible. So. Yeah. Yeah.
