Johnny: I enjoyed it immensely. I had so much fun. It was really good to see you again. It’s been a while. And just to have fun with you and play was amazing.

Johnny: What, if anything, was challenging about this shoot?

Skip: Well, I had…It’s been a while since I’ve been on camera. I haven’t been in front of the camera since July. So I think I was having some nerves about that. But again, like, I think I feel really comfortable with you. I feel really comfortable at CrashPad. So I knew that those nerves or pre-shooting jitters would would dissipate.

Johnny: Yeah definitely

Skip: And they feel like they did. Once we got into the scene, it was easy peasy.

Johnny: Yeah I feel the same for me. I think I’m a little bit on the shy side even if I don’t act like it. And so I think that that’s kind of one of the reasons. I do this anyway is just to push my own boundaries and get out. And yeah, I feel like once we got started, I was just kind of lost in… Yeah… in You. So yeah!

Skip: I feel similarly. Like, once we started it’s like, Oh, it’s Johnny. I know Johnny. Yeah, this is okay.

Johnny: Yeah, for sure. Yeah. Same.

Skip: So what are your safer sex practices and why do you do those things?

Johnny: Depending on what I’m doing and with who, a lot of the time it’s exchanging paperwork or proof of testing. I feel like a lot of the stuff that I do already is in front of the camera. So a lot of it also just happens to be bareback stuff. So most of it is just like showing each other. Like, this is when I got tested. All clear. And how about your’s?

Skip: I get tested monthly, if not more consistently. And I have those papers on hand at all times.

Johnny: Yeah.

Skip: And I have the expectation that my sex partners also have those.

Johnny: Yeah.

Skip: I also just started the PrEP injection.

Johnny: Oh, yeah? How is that going?

Skip: It’s very exciting.
Johnny: Yeah.

Skip: And I use doxy-PEP.
Johnny: Which is –

Skip: Yeah, I’ll take Doxy within 24 hours of having unprotected sex. And that helps fight against chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis.

Johnny: Yeah, that’s great. I should have said I also get tested monthly, if not more. Yeah, and the people at the clinic know me by nickname.

Skip: Great.
Johnny: Yeah.

Skip:If you’ve done porn – you have done porn before.

Skip: Why do you continue to do porn, Johnny?

Johnny: I mean, I think to push my own boundaries with what I’m comfortable with. I think it helps a lot with my anxiety, but a lot of it is like I get to hang out with people that I love. Like you. I get to meet new people. I can work with a lot of just amazing, sexy…you know, performers that are some of the best people in my life. And how about you?

Skip: So I have taken a step back from doing porn full time.

Johnny: Sure.

Skip: But I did do this scene today with you and with CrashPad because –

Johnny: Which, thank you!

Skip: Yeah! I mean, I feel like I do porn now as a way, like it’s more of a passive income and it is much more on my schedule and my terms and what I’m available for. And that makes porn really fun and appetizing for me. Like I have been looking forward to this scene, even if I had nerves, like I’ve been looking forward to reconnecting with you and being in a room full of queer trans people. Yeah, that that brings me a lot of joy. And I think that it’s really great that we can connect over sex and intimacy in that way, too.

Skip: I think quarantine really helped me realize who the important people in my life are and why I should invest in them.

Johnny: Yeah.

Skip: And yeah, like seeing less people because of COVID has helped to carve out space for me to do that.

Johnny: Totally. Definitely.

Skip: What about you?

Johnny: Same. But like with myself not feeling the pressure of having to go out and be social, even if my social battery is completely depleted.

Skip:Yeah.

Johnny: And having that time to kind of figure out what I actually like doing.

Skip:Yeah.

Johnny: If I’m just doing it for pleasure.

Skip: Yeah. It’s wild.
