Goddexx Mayari: What did you like about the shoot today?
Kit Crow: I really liked being able to do my first professional porn shoot with you because I feel really comfortable with you and it’s something I was a little nervous about. So that – that was really nice for me. I also like being bratty to make you slap me! (laughs)

Kit: Yeah.
Goddexx: Nice.

Kit: What did you like about the shoot today?
Goddexx: Same. First professional shoot and I’m glad that I was able to do it with you because I feel safe and comfortable with you. I like getting to show you off. Uh…Yeah.
(laughs)

Kit: What was most challenging about the shoot for you?
Goddexx: Overthinking it for several days prior. But, you know, I got here and it was fine.
(laughs)
Kit: Cool
Goddexx: What about you?
Kit: Same thing.
Goddexx: Cool.
Kit: I think we’re good.
Goddexx: Yeah. We’re normal.
(laughs)

Goddexx: What are your safer sex practices, and why?
Kit: When I know that I’m sleeping with multiple people… on an ongoing basis. I’ll get tested pretty regularly, usually about once a month or once every couple of months. And I talked to my partners about their safer sex practices. And based on what they’re doing, I’ll decide to use barriers and all of that.

Kit: What are your safe sex practices, and why?
Goddexx: Nice. I’m on Truvada PrEP [Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis] and then in general using barriers and protection.
Kit: Mmhm.
Goddexx: I’m not really sleeping around that much anymore so I don’t think about it as much. (laughs)
Kit: Totally.
Goddexx: Yeah. Oh, and I get tested regularly. Usually once a month if I’m sleeping around but I’m already getting tested every 3 month cuz I’m part of a paid study.
(laughs)
Kit: Love those.
Goddexx: Yeah

Goddexx: If you’ve done porn before…. Could you repeat that?
Kit: I’ll ask it.
Goddexx: Thank you!
Kit: If you’ve done porn before, why do you continue to do it? And if you haven’t, why did you come to do it today?
Goddexx: I mean, I started doing online sex work when I was younger because it’s more accessible and then when quarantine happened it was a primary way of making money. And it’s also kind of fun to play around with presentation and how I’m presenting myself in that aspect and seeing how people interact with it. But I’d never done a professional shoot. It’s more of not really having opportunities cuz of COVID. Yeah. I don’t know. It’s a job. (laughs)
Kit: Totally.

Goddexx: What about you?
Kit: I see how you didn’t ask the whole question! Okay.
Goddexx: Yup!
(laughs)

Kit: I similarly have done sort of online sex work and various forms of sex work on my own but I hadn’t done a professional shoot before. For me, it’s also a job there’s also a lot of aspects of it that I like. It’s almost like…like you said, I’m creating sort of a playground for my presentation and that’s fun. Being able to see how my different dynamics with different people evolve over timeI don’t know, it’s just interesting, and it’s fun. I think I came in to do a professional shoot because the opportunity arose and I thought that it might be fun.

Goddexx: Nice. What was your favorite thing about quarantine?
Kit: That’s a really hard question. I think it changed my relationship to my home space and it made me – kind of forced me to be more intentional in having my home be a place that I felt good being in.
Goddexx: Yeah.

Kit: Yeah. What’s your favorite thing about quarantine?
Goddexx: I like that I can get out of going to events. (laughs) I think that was huge for me.
Kit: I should have said that.
(laughs)

Goddexx: I think my house is also, my room is so nice now as a result. And it’s a nice place to be, because I was always out all the time before. And I didn’t really like being home. But it kind of forced me to learn how to exist in my own space by myself. You know?

Kit: Yeah. That was really fun. Yeah! No, that was a lot of fun and I think I was more bratty during the shoot than I actually normally am.And I think that I’m going to start doing that more because it was really fun.

Goddexx: Nice.
Kit: Yeah.
