Frankie: How did you enjoy the shoot today?
Vex: Um, hm… I enjoyed a lot of aspects of it. I mean it’s just like exciting being here. Um, yeah. I enjoyed it a lot. I had a really great time playing with you.
Yeah.
Vex: How did you enjoy the shoot today?
Frankie: Oh my gosh. I loved it! Yeah, it felt… it felt really good to have everyone’s energy here. And to be very preset with you. And just explore pleasing you and pleasing myself while pleasing you. It’s just um, a fun thing that I like to do especially with cameras on me (Laughs)
Yeah
Frankie: So what was most challenging for you?
Vex: I’d say towards the beginning it was a little hard for me to get out of my head and just like into feeling the scene. I eventually was able to get more into my body and everything.
Frankie: Love it, yes. Yes. I feel like I could almost see that with you evolving… I loved it, it was great. Especially as a person who’s on the topping side there’s always a bit of an attraction to someone who’s feeling a little more…oooh…
Vex: How about you? What was challenging for you at all?
Frankie: I think what’s most challenging for me in a topping position is knowing what to say and knowing how far to go with certain things. We’d already previously discussed that but…yeah, I tend to fall on the safer side than go for it. I always am anticipating in my head, like “oh, is this landing well? Should I be saying more?” So it’s something that I’m personally working on. I love this question… What are your safer sex practices?
Vex: Um… My safer sex practices are generally going over STI testing history with people and how long it’s been since they were last tested, how many new partners they’ve had since they were last tested, and then also just using barriers like gloves, condoms, etc. Whenever… possible…but also just like, you know discussing that beforehand with people whether they want those barriers or what… obviously with fluid-bonding that would be a much more in-depth conversation –
Frankie: -lengthy
Vex: – and everything. And the reason that I do all of that is just because I’m trying to be conscious of my own health but also the health of other people that I play with just making sure that I’m not harming people in any way.
Both: Yeah. Yeah.
Frankie: I feel you.
Vex: How about you? What are your safer sex practices, and also, why?
Frankie: Yeah! I guess I’d say… In addition to what you’ve said, because what you’ve illustrated is already fantastic. I, especially in the topping scenario when I’m first getting to know a body, sort of like what you and I did was the discussion, and then scientific touch where I kind of – especially if it’s some kinky play – I have a list of questions that I ask people “What language do you want me to use in reference to your body? Which do you not want me to use at all? And what language do you want me to use, in calling you things? Where do you not want me to touch? Where do you really want me to touch? What kinds of activities are you interested in?” And then…”How do you want to feel during the scene?” And I remember you saying pretty and desirable…and ravaged. And going over safewords which we’ve talked about and I feel like we handled that well today too.
Vex: Yeah, definitely
Frankie: And then asking if they want to use tools or toys and doing the same thing with the barriers on the tools and toys. I love – I love gloves. So much. I think that – that’s kind of the discussion part. And the scientific touch part is more like, you asked for some choking so I’m checking out how much pressure and what’s too much or what’s too little and doing the same thing if there’s spanking involved, etc. Just to get used to somebody’s body because it can help the top and the bottom feel a little more confident and trustworthy in each other. Yeah, so I think for me that discussion and scientific touch, among the STI checking and barriers and all that stuff, being able to talk about sex and intimacy — that is a dang good safety precaution! And I love it.
Have you done porn before? What am I saying, yes of course you have… please tell me more though!
Vex: I mean yes, you know that I have… Yeah, I’ve done porn before. In terms of just like, I’ve had a very brief history with doing some camming from just my bedroom and whatnot, but then, during the pandemic made my own company –
Frankie: – Yeah, yeah!
Vex: – Pink Heat
Frankie: – Pink Heat! Woot-woot!
Vex: Probably changing the name sometime soon though…Yeah we filmed about eight different scenes and that was really cool and I acted in a few of them. Yeah! So I have done porn before and I continue to do it because I fucking love it and there’s not enough queer porn in the world. And, yeah.
Frankie: Here, here. Yeah.
Vex: How about you? I mean… I also, but…”Have you done porn before?”
Frankie: *Sarcastically* Oh no, I’m a total newbie… I just thought I’d pop right in! No. But um, yeah! I feel like… I’ve never done a more professional shoot such as this environment. And it feels really, really good. Mostly what I’ve done is camming and also OnlyFans, doing some videos or working with clientele stuff. Yeah, it’s uh… I – I love it. I’ll continue to do it – I hope to continue to do it. This feels like it was a foot, a step in the right direction for me. It feels like a part of my being and personality to just want to please and be pleased.
Vex: Hell yeah. Awesome.
Frankie: Alright. So what has been the
best thing about quarantine for you?
Vex: For me I’d say it’s just being able to have some time to do a lot of self exploration I’ve been able to find out a lot of new things about myself. In terms of being neurodivergent and everything. Also exploring that more and what my needs are therein, figuring out how to take care of myself better and that’s been really, really helpful.
Frankie: Love it.
Vex: – It was something I needed
Frankie: Yeah, that’s great.
Vex: How about you?
Frankie: I feel like I had a sort of similar experience in quarantine and I’ll say that probably my best experience was: I’m in a band, called That Band Frank, and we’re like a protest punk – but kind of jazz and a little bit of musical theater in there. And we got a drummer and a bassist over the pandemic and would play in Lake Merritt Park and eventually did a “COVID conscious” tour down the West Coast with another band, Mount Saint Elias and Matteo Lovik and we played at different people’s porches!
Vex: That’s so cool
Frankie: We called it Porchella! So it’s a pretty dope thing, and I felt really lucky, and we podded up, we
were really smart about it. Nobody got COVID. That was really great. It felt… and that was when things were loosening up too. It kind of exceeded this sort of…performer side of me that I feel like is just ready to bloom.
Vex: Yeah. That’s awesome
Frankie: Yeah. Aw… Can I hug you?
Vex: Yeah!
Frankie: Get in here!
