Red: So what’d you think about the shoot today?

Red: Yeah, it was hot it was really fun. It was a different type of porn than I’m used to doing. I’m used to doing, like, SM

J: So, why did you want to do the scene? Why did you want to do this shoot specifically?
R: Well, I thought that it would be fun to break out of the, sort of, SM model where I’m just the bratty little sub and,
like, be a bit more of my own person, maybe a fuller character.
J: OK
Red: And, like, I don’t know, I’m an exhibitionist.
J: Yeah
R: What about you?
J: Um. What was the question?
R: Why did you want to do porn?
J: Oh, Um, I wanted to do porn – I wanna do lots of porn, actually, becuase I am – I feel really strong about having super
queer sex in a light that is like seen for – feels comfortable for me, and feels comfortable for a lot of people that, like,
aren’t necessarily comfortable doing porn. ‘Cause I watch a lot of porn and I wish there was more queer porn.

R: So, how did the Scene differ from your expectations of what it was going to be like?
J: Um. I actually had some dreams about this. A couple nights in a row I actually have had dreams about this. Um, so, I only
have expectations based on my dreams in this particular situation. Um, I don’t know if I would really share that. But, they
– It was terribly intense, it was just like, just like some – some things that, um. I guess it was pretty visual. Like,
dream-wise – just what it would be like. And it was very similar. So, I didn’t really have any expectations, but I – I don’t
really, yeah. No expectations. What about you?
R: Um, I think the thing that was different from my expectations is that I was more nervous topping even than I expected.
J: Hmm.
R: It was, like, intimidating to be in front of the camera and also be in this position of – Well, I guess I could top from
the bottom. But, you know, gained power.
J: Right. Well, I guess to add to that, like, usually for me, I mean, we’ve had sex before, but you know how, it is for me,
like, getting topped for me is a little hard. And I didn’t expect to be so open about it. And I was –

J: totally. But, um, yeah. It was challenging to, at first, to have people in the room.

J: Oh, yeah, I needed a bandaid, but no. No, um. Yeah, just, you know, being in the moment, like, for me having sex is like,
really, I can take it to different places, but most of the time I feel like it’s an intimate thing for 1, 2, 3, or 4, 5
people, you know? But with not cameras or anything, so that to me was a challenge, was slightly performance, but also being
free with my body, so.

R: Well, one thing that I was – wanted to just briefly mention is the fact that, like, one, another reason that I was
excited about doing this shoot was that, like, in other porn stuff that I’ve done, I’ve always been put in this very
feminine role, and I don’t feel like that, sort of, adequately describes my gender, so I was excited about doing queer porn
where it’s safe for me to be more androgynous and, like express different parts of my sexuality. So, that was fun.
