Erin: How did you enjoy the shoot today?
Jules: I really enjoyed it a lot, it was really freeing, it was really fun, it’s something that we’ve talked about doing for such a long time. And especially working with Crash Pad it’s – you know – something that I never really thought would actually happen, so it’s really great to have the chance to do it. How did you like the shoot today?
Erin: Good, really good. It was um… fun. Exhausting, Exhausting, I’m physically drained. It felt really good.
Jules: Awesome.
Erin: I had, um. I really was excited and anxious a little about how this would play out, and it was just us being us, so it was really nice.
Jules: Yeah, I’m glad I could do it with you

Erin: Whew! (whistling) Ahh.

Shine: Did you want this?
Erin: Yes, thank you.
Shine: There we go

Erin: Come here

Jules: Oh fuck! Yes, yes!

Jules: What was challenging about the shoot?
Erin: Well, it was, um. We sort of had a plan coming into it but I didn’t know what we exactly were going to want to do, and sort of, figure out what expectations were, if there were any, and see how, uh, see what was going to happen. So, that wasn’t a challenge, but that was… an anxiety I suppose. Like, “OK, let’s see what’s going to happen” I have no idea what’s going on, I have no idea, you know, we’ll just play it by ear, and it worked fantastically. How about you, what was challenging for you about the shoot?
Jules: Um, I think in my head I was trying to think, like, “don’t do the same stuff we’ve already done, but still keep it authentic.”
Erin: Yeah
Jules: And still keep it, like, stuff that we do –
Erin: Yeah, yeah
Jules: – with each other – like, let’s just not throw out something random that we’ve never done before just for the fun of doing it.
Erin: That would be a mistake, yeah
Jules: Yeah. So I guess that was the big challenging, just trying to, like, keep it versatile enough, but still genuine.
Erin: Yeah. Cool.

Shine: Awesome. That was a great scene, I’ve got like 34 minutes –
Jules: Good
Shine: – which is good for us, unless there’s other things that you’d really like* to do
Jules: I feel pretty good
Erin: My arms are gonna give out
Jules: OK, well, yeah
(laughter)
Jules: I kinda lost track of time, I was like, was that ten minutes, was it an hour? I had no idea. So, I figured I’ll just wait for somebody else to say something. (indiscernible)
Shine: Awesome
Jules: oops. Sorry!
Erin: Elbow me in the head. Knock me off the bed
Jules: It’s ’cause I love you!

Jules: So, why did you decide to do porn?
Erin: That’s a big question! I decided to do the shoot because a) it’s a crazy opportunity that I didn’t anticipate every coming along. And, having just done still photography shoots before, I wanted to see how the video thing played out. And, uh, yeah. That was, just an opportunity. It’s also a chance to go someplace new and have fun. So, it’s a working vacation. Jules: Hmm, definitely
Erin: And, just seeing the technical side of it, from starting up Fruit Punch, this was handy. This was good. How about you?
Jules: I think I’ve always wanted to do porn, but the options that were presented to me by some pretty sketchy avenues, I was like, “nothing feels right.” So the chance to actually wait for a project –
Erin: Yeah. (whispering)
Jules: – that felt right was huge. And it was a lot of patience and a lot of waiting, but it finally paid off and I’m very glad, and that’s what I hope to carry into what we do, and is something that I feel proud of. And, this is definitely something that I will always look back on and feel proud of being a part of.
Erin: Yeah, Awesome

Jules: Fruit Punch Productions is something that I’ve always wanted to do for a long time because of, just, trying to find a porn project to be a part of, especially like in the midwest and on the east coast, there aren’t that many opportunities, but there are a lot of people that want to do it. And, it’s like, “Well, why don’t we just do it? You know? Let’s just put it together and make it happen?” And, once I started talking to people and realized that this is something that actually could come together – you know, just queer feminist porn that is done ethically. You know, it’s amazing. So, I’m really excited to see Fruit Punch get going and for people to be already emotionally invested in seeing it happen.
Erin: Yeah, yeah, absolutely.
Jules: That’s huge, just having that support already, really makes me happy.
Erin: That’s about it

Erin: Jules alluded to it – the avenues of pornography that were available – I mean, we’re both on the trans* spectrum – gender queer. And, it’s, was – especially being primarily, or initially male bodied, the avenues of porn that were vailable to me were really really not what was into, not what I was looking for. And, this opportunity is amazing, and thank you.
Jules: Mmhmm.
Erin: So, that’s basically it for me.
Jules: That’s basically it, and I feel like a lot of times, just the way that trans* people interact sexually is not always portrayed that genuinely. And, so being able to show that, you know, is – is really huge, so it’s important to me.
Erin: Yeah, yeah, well, yeah
Shine: Right on
